Indian Navy Recruitment Notification 2018. Indian Navy is inviting applications for the positions of Short Service Commission Officer.Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for the positions.

Post and Vacancies :-
1. Short Service Commission Officer - 38

Educatonal Qualification : B.Sc, M.A, M.Sc, B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech

Other Qualifications :
1. SSC (Edn): Educational Qualification: (i) M.Sc. (Physics/Nuclear Physics) with Maths in B.Sc. (ii) M.Sc. (Maths/Operational Research) with Physics in B.Sc. (iii) M.A. (English).(iv) BE / B.Tech (Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering). (vi) BE / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering).

2. PC (Logistics): (i) BE/B.Tech in any discipline or (ii) MBA with First Class or (iii) B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with first class and a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management or (iv) MCA / M.Sc (IT)

Selection Process :
1. IHQ of MoD reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off/based on percentage of marks obtained in final educational qualification without assigning any reason. No communication will be entertained on this account. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam during May 18 to Jul 18.

2. A choice of dates for appearing in SSB will be indicated in the application dashboard for shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their e-mail or through SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). (b) The total duration of SSB interviews is five days consisting of two Stages- Stage I (Day one) and Stage II (Four days).

3. Stage I test consisting of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 days).

4. Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be appointed for training as per All India Merit of SSB marks depending on the number of vacancies. (d) Change of SSB Centre for interview is not permissible under any circumstance. (e) Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates be addressed to the call up officer of the SSB on receipt of call up letter. Candidates are to download the call up letter on receiving intimation from IHQ-MoD(Navy) on SMS/e-mail(provided by candidate in their application).

5. No compensation will be paid in respect of any injury sustained as a result of test during SSB interviews. (g) Return AC 3 tier/AC Chair Car rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for that type of commission on production of railway tickets. Candidates will carry photocopy of the first page of pass book or cheque leaf where the name, A/C No & IFSC details are mentioned, while appearing for SSB.

1. Candidates are to register and fill application on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in The candidates are to apply online from 20 Jan 18 to 10 Feb 18. 15 Online (e-application). Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:-

2. Correct filling up of personal particulars. Details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate (b) Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled.

3. All relevant documents (preferably in original) (mark-sheets as per education qualification, Date of Birth proof as per 10th or 12th, CGPA Conversion formula for BE/B.Tech) and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in JPG/FIIT format for attaching the same while filling up the application.

4. If any scanned document is not legible / readable for any reason, the application will be rejected. (d) Print one copy of online application form. Candidates will carry application form and original certificates / documents while appearing for SSB Interview.
