a. Post Details: Senior Residents on contract basis* against IMO for ESIC Model Hospital, Ludhiana – Casualty – 01, Dermatology – 01, Ophthalmology – 01, Gen. Medicine – 02, Gen. Surgery – 01, ICU – 02, Obs. & Gynae – 02, Orthopaedics – 01, Paediatrics – 02, Psychiatry – 01, Pulm. Medicine – 01.
b .Qualification: P.G. Degree or Diploma in concerned Specialty from recognized university, registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council*. If such candidates are not available, candidates without PG Qualification having at least 2 years experience, after MBBS (experience post registration with Medical Council India or State Medical Council*) will be only considered out of which having worked for 1 year in concerned Specialty. Candidate who have already completed 03 years Senior Residency will be engaged on annual contract basis.
c. Experience: For Senior Resident (Radiology) candidates with only PG Degree/ Diploma will be considered. For Senior Resident (Casualty), Degree/ Experience in General Medicine will also be considered.
d. Salary: Basic Pay Rs. 18750/- + Grade Pay – Rs. 6600/- (pre-revised) plus allowances as admissible to Central govt. employees. Or as per order issued by ESIC Hqrs. Office from time to time. It would be reduced by Rs. 600/- Per month for Diploma Holders and the same will be reduced by Rs. 1210/- per month for non PG candidates. Or as per order issued by ESIC Hqrs. Office from time to time
Age : Age Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxation as per rule.
2. Super Specialist - 04 Posts
Salary : Rs. 60,000/-Per Month
Job Location : Ludhiana
Educational Qualification : MS/MD
Other Qualifications :
a. Post Details: Part Time Super Specialists on contract basis* for ESIC Model Hospital, Ludhiana:- Cardiology – 01, Gastroenterology – 01, Endocrinology – 01, Neurology – 01.
b .Qualification: Post Graduation qualification in the concerned specialty. Candidate must be registered from Medical Council of India or State Medical Council*. DM/ MCH in the concerned Super Specialty
c. Salary: . Rs. 60,000/- per month for three hour session per day for five days in a week. For giving undertaking to be available for emergency call duty after the schedule timing – Rs. 10,000/- per month. For extra session of two hours – Rs. 2,000/- Total Salary Rs. 1,00,000/-(+) (roughly)
Age : Age not exceeding 67 years. Relaxation as per rule.
3. Full Time/ Part time Specialist - 06 Posts
Salary : Rs. 18,750 - 70,000/-Per Month

Educational Qualification : PG Diploma, MS/MD
Other Qualifications :
a. Post Details: Full Time /Part Time Specialists on contract basis* for ESIC Model Hospital, Ludhiana:- Orthopaedics - 01, Radiology – 01., Part Time Specialist on contract basis* for ESIC Model Dispensary cum Diagnostic Centre, Barnala - Surgical Specialist - 01 for 2 sessions of two hours each for 3 days in a week. Pathologist - 01 for daily one session of two hours per day for 06 days in a weekPart Time Specialist on contract basis* for Model Dispensary cum Diagnostic Centre Rajpura – Medical Specialist - 01 and Surgical Specialist - 01 for 2 sessions of two hours each for 3 days in a week. Pathologist - 01 for daily one session of two hours per day for 06 days in a week.
b. Qualification: PG Degree/ Diploma with 3 years /5 years work experience in concerned specialty. Candidate must be registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council*. Experience must be completed as on date of interview.
c. Emoluments: 1) Full Time Specialists:- Basic Pay 18750/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-, DA, HRA and NPA as admissible or as per orders issued by ESIC Hqrs. Office from time to time. 2) Part Time Specialist - Rs.40,000/- consolidated per month for two sessions of 2 hours each per day into five days in a week + Rs. 8000/- for emergency calls or as per orders issued by ESIC Hqrs. Office from time to time. For extra session of two hours – Rs. 1,000/-. Total Salary Rs. 70, 000/- (roughly) 3) Specialist (Part Time) Pathology for Barnala & Rajpura: - Rs. 1,000/- consolidated daily for one session of two hours. 4) Specialist (Part Time) Medicine & surgery for Barnala & Rajpura: - Rs. 2,000/- for 02 sessions of two hours each in a day or as per orders issued by ESIC Hqrs. Office from time to time.
Age : Age not exceeding 45 years for Full Time Specialist specialists and not exceeding 67 for Part Time Specialists. Relaxation as per rule.
Note :
Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation on grounds of belonging to OBC should submit the community certificate in prescribed proforma vide Govt. Of India, Department of Personnel Training OM No. 36012/22/93- EST (SCT) dated 08/09/93 which is modified vide OM No.- 36033/3/2004 Estt. (Res.) dated 09/3/2004 or the latest notification of the Government of India if any failing which the benefit of reservation/ relaxation will not be given or their application shall be rejected and no request/ correspondence will be entertained.

The eligible and desirous – fulfilling the educational qualifications/ eligibility conditions should appear for Walk-ininterview with their application alongwith original certificates and one set of attested photocopy of the relevant documents in support of age, qualifications, Attempt, Marks Sheet, Degree, MCI/ State Registration, SC/ST/OBC/PH Certificate & Experience certificate etc. and two recent passport size photographs. Applicants are advised to report to the office of Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Bharat Nagar, Ludhiana on 22.02.2018 accordingly for interview as mentioned above from 09:00 AM to 10.00 AM and candidates who will report after prescribed time are liable for rejection. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview. The candidate who is currently in the employment must bring experience certificate (working certificate) failing which his/ her candidature liable to rejection.
