Job Location : Haldwani

Qualification Details: 
1 .Post Name: Senior Landscape Coordinator- TAL (Terai Arc Landscape) - Remuneration will be competitive with Indian NGO pay scales and will depend upon candidate’s experience levels and the overall WWF-India salary structure. WWF-India does not provide housing, telephone or vehicle facilities.

2. Qualifications, Experience and competencies required: Post Graduate degree in biological or social sciences, development studies, management or a related field. At least ten years of work experience in the field of conservation with a strong understanding of landscape conservation issues in India and the region. 

3. Desired Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team. Existing networks with the civil society and government partners in the country for wildlife conservation. Knowledge of project development and project management processes and tools. Good writing and communication skills, written and oral; in both English and Hindi. High level of interpersonal skills, especially in relationship management and consensus building and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

4 .The JobProfile:

a. Undertaking programme management and implementation of approved activities in Uttarakhand part of TAL and lead the team based at Haldwani. Coordinating the implementation of various programmatic tasks set in the approved projects in TAL-Uttarakhand. Coordinating and, where relevant, providing technical input into study design, data collection, data analysis, report preparation and timely

b. submission to the Team Leader – TAL.   Staying current and being informed on the policies of the state government of Uttarakhand that might have immediate or long term effects on conservation of species and their habitats, and strategising actions based on this. Taking an adaptive management approach to address issues as they arise and implementing quick decisions under complex circumstances. Managing and mentoring the team based at the Haldwani office and providing broader management support to the Team Leader – TAL as required.

c. Supervising the administrative duties in the Uttarakhand part of TAL with the team stationed at Haldwani, with reference to HR related matters, purchase and procurement and fund related issues with assistance from other team members.
