Stenographer:
Salary: Rs. 5,200 - Rs. 20,200/- Per Month
Qualification Details:
1. Post Name & Pay: Stenographer Grade III– 1 Post - 5200 – 20200 + RGP 2400
2. Essential: 12th Class pass or equivalent from recognized Board/University
3. Professional Efficiency: The candidates will be given one dictation test in English at 80 w.p.m for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 10 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Tamil will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on Computer
Age: 18 - 27 years
Subject Matter Specialist:
Salary: Rs. 15,600 - Rs. 39,100/- Per Month
Qualification Details:
1. Post Name & Pay: Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection, Agriculture Extension) – 15600 – 39100 + RGP 5400
2. Essential:
a. Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection) – 1 post: Master’s degree in Agriculture (Plant Protection) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university
b. Subject Matter Specialist (Agriculture Extension) – 1 post: : Master’s degree in Agriculture (Agril. Extension) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university
Senior Scientist and Head:
Salary: Rs. 37,400 - Rs. 67,000/- Per Month
Qualification Details:
1. Designation & Pay scale: Senior Scientist and Head - 37400 – 67000 + RGP 9000
2. Essential a) For Disciplines other than engineering subject Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band –3 of `15600-39100 with Grade pay of `5400/`6000/`7000/`8000 having made contribution to research/teaching/extension as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact b) For Engineering disciplines Doctoral degree in relevant Agriculture engineering subject with 6 years experience as Scientist /Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of `15600-39100 with grade pay of `5400/`6000/`7000/`8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work / innovative and impact. OR c) Master’s degree in the relevant agriculture engineering subject with 10years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band–3 of `15600-39100 with grade pay of `5400/`6000/`7000/`8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work / innovative and impact.
3. Desirable: Specialization in implementing extension education programmes.
