Qualification Details:
1. Post Name & Pay: Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant) - Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) and Grade pay Of Rs.6600/-
2 .Qualification: Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination License in any one category of avionics (E,I,R)/(ES,IS,RN) or (A,C)/(HA & JE) in mechanical stream;
3. Experience: Total A ircraft Maintenance Experience Of three years including one year as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on Border Security Force Type Of Aircraft or Helicopters(As prescribed from time to time as per requirement); or Holder of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Tele-Communications or Aeronautical stream(for MI-17 1 V); or Graduate with holder Of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's license or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination Certificate or Basic . Maintenance Engineer's Examination License in Air Aircraft Frame (A) or Engine (C) or (HA or JE) (for Advance Light Helicopters); and Total Aircraft maintenance Experience of three years including one year as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on Border Security Force Type of Aircraft or Helicopters (As prescribed from time to time as per requirement).
Junior Aircraft Radio Maintenance Engineer:
Qualification Details:
1. Post Name & Pay: Junior Aircraft Radio Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant)- Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) and Grade pay Of Rs.6600/-
2 .Qualification: Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination License in category Radio Navigation 'R' or 'RN' with current Radio Telephonic Restricted Operators' License; and
3. Experience: Total Aircraft maintenance experience of three years including one year as Aircraft Radio Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on Border Security Force Type of Aircraft or Helicopters (As prescribed from time to time as per requirement); or Branch commissioned officer of technical stream of Indian Air Force having Engineering Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Electrical or Electronics and Tele-communications(for MI-17 or Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Examination certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination License in category Radio Navigation 'R'/ 'RN' with current Radio Telephonic Restricted Operators' license (for Advance Light Helicopters or Dhruv ); and Total Aircraft maintenance experience Of three years including one year as Aircraft Radio Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience Cowfish

Qualification Details:
1. Post Name & Pay: Assistant Commandant - Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) and Grade pay Of Rs.5400/-
2 .Essential: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Associate Member Of Institute Of Engineers; OR MBA in Material Management from a recognized University or Institute; OR Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with one year's Post Graduate diploma in Stores Management or Material Management from a recognized University or Institute.
3 .Desirable: One year experience in Logistics or Aviation related field from a recognized Organization.
Age: Not Exceeding 35 years

1 .Border Security Force will be holding an All India Examination for direct recruitment to the post of JUNIOR AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (DEPUTY COMMANDANT) , JUNIOR AIRCRAFT RADIO MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (DEPUTY COMMANDANT) AND ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (LOGISTICS)
2 .Candidates are advised to go through the requirement of educational /technical qualification, age, physical standards, physical efficiency test etc. and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post before applying. BSF reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the selection process, if he/she is found not qualifying any of the prescribed eligibility criteria. 4 .On appointment they shall be entitled for pension benefits as per the "New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government services w.e.f. 1st January , 2004.

(d) Copy of Matriculation/School Leaving certificate or equivalent certificate as proof of age.

(g) Copy Of documents for Identity proof like Aadhaar Card or other Identity card as filled up by candidate in application form.
(h) Caste certificate cum Age Relaxation certificate for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per
(i) Age relaxation certificate of candidate domiciled in the J & K during the period from 01 Jan 1980 to 31 Dec 1989 issued by the Competent Authority.
(j) Age relaxation certificate of the children and dependent family members Of those who were killed in the communal riots of the year 1984 at Punjab and 2002 at Gujarat riots issued by the competent authority.
(k) Copy of Discharge Service Certificate in case of Ex-Servicemen candidate.
(l) NOC cum service certificate and disciplinary/vigilance clearance for central Government employee.
