Qualification Details:
1. Technical Officer (Course Content Development & Training ):
a Educational Qualification (s): Essential: Full time B.E/B. Tech in Textile Engineering/ Technology from an AICTE recognized university/Institute passed with minimum 60% of Mark Desirable: M.E/M. Tech in above discipline
b. Experience: Essential: At least 2 years experience in Textile industry. Or 2 years of teaching experience in an AICTE recognized university/ institute. Desirable: Knowledge of designing course content /training modules and/or training to the workers of Textile & clothing industry in imparting skill developmental training
c. Emoluments: Consolidated pay up to Rs. 35,000/- (Emoluments may differ as per experience & qualification). No other perquisites or allowances will be admissible other than the consolidated pay
d. Job Responsibilities: a) Assisting in Developing and Standardizing course content for new Job Roles under Samarth and review and editing of course content for existing job roles b) Assisting in Development of Trainer’s support material including handbooks, question bank for variety of examination tools. c) Assisting in Mapping out Training Plans, designing and developing Training Programs for Trainers, Assessors and Training needs of other stakeholders of Samarth.
e. Terms of Employment : Purely on contractual basis for a period of one year or till the completion of Samarth Scheme whichever is earlier (Extension of contract after one year is subjected to performance)
2. Technical Officer (Skill Research):
a. Educational Qualification (s): Essential: Post Graduation in Economics/Statistics or MBA in International Business with minimum 60% of Mark Desirable: B.E/ B. Tech in Textiles at under graduate level
b. Experience: Essential: At least 2 years experience in Economic Research with minimum 1 years in skill development relating to Textile Sector. Desirable: 1 year experience in Skill development
c. Emoluments: Consolidated pay upto Rs. 35,000/- (Emoluments may differ as per experience & qualification). No other perquisites or allowances will be admissible other than the consolidated pay
d. Job Responsibilities: a) Organizing and updating Skill Gap Analysis of different sub-sectors of textiles industry, identifying job roles and skill needs of the sector. b) Study Global Scenario and Best Practices and available research/reports in skilling in the textile sector c) International Bench-Marking of the skilling mechanism of different countries. d) Preparation of required documents including concept/analytical notes and other related documents under the Samarth Scheme of Ministry of Textiles e) Preparation of skill inventory database for the textile sector
e. Terms of Employment : Purely on contractual basis for a period of one year or till the completion of Samarth Scheme whichever is earlier (Extension of contract after one year is subjected to performance)
3. Technical Officer (Assessment):
a. Educational Qualification (s): Essential: Degree in Textile Engineering/ Technology or from an AICTE recognized university (full time only) passed with minimum 60% of Mark Desirable: MBA
b. Experience: Essential: Having domain experience of 2 year in the field of Training/ Skill Assessment or 2 years experience in a well organized Textile industry
c. Emoluments: Consolidated pay upto Rs. 35,000/- (Emoluments may differ as per experience & qualification). No other perquisites or allowances will be admissible other than the consolidated pay
d. Job Responsibilities: a) Developing, maintaining, updating and troubleshooting of Assessment Protocol and all other such documents like Question Bank for variety of examination tools. b) Processing of the applications for empanelment/ renewal etc of Assessment Agencies, Assessors and continuous monitoring of their performance c) Conducting/ coordinating and monitoring periodic Competency Evaluation Program for accreditation of assessors d) Overseeing and participating in monitoring, scoring, processing of a variety assessment tests under Samarth

c. Experience: Essential: At least 5 years experience in Textile industry. Or 5 years of teaching experience in an AICTE recognized university/ institute. Desirable: Knowledge of designing course content /training modules and/or training to the workers of Textile & clothing industry in imparting skill developmental training
c. Emoluments: Consolidated pay upto Rs. 60,000/- (Emoluments may differ as per experience & qualification). No other perquisites or allowances will be admissible other than the consolidated pay
d. a. Educational Qualification (s): Essential: M. Phill in Economics/Statistics or MBA in International Business passed with minimum 60% of Mark Desirable: B.E/B. Tech in Textiles with MBA in International Business or Ph. D in Economics/ Statistics
b. Experience: Essential: At least Five years experience in Economic Research with minimum 2 years in Textile Sector. Desirable: 2 years experience in skill development

b. Experience: Essential: 5 years experience in a well organized Textile industry out of which three years in the managerial capacity. Desirable: Domain experience of 3 year in the field of Training/ Skill Assessment
