Qualification Details: 
Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the largest commercial undertaking in India and a Fortune “Global 500” Company, as a measure of Skill Building Initiative for the Nation, proposes to engage Apprentices at its operating locations in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Tripura & West Bengal.

1 .Prescribed Qualification/Eligibility Criteria :

a .For Technician Apprentice-Mechanical : 3(Three)Years full time regular diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

b. For Technician Apprentice-Electrical : 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

c. For Technician Apprentice-Instrumentation: 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions

d. For Technician Apprentice-Civil : 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

e. For Technician Apprentice-Electrical & Electronics : 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

f. For Technician Apprentice- Electronics : 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Electronics Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

g. For Trade Apprentice-Fitter : Matric with 2(Two) year ITI(Fitter) full time, regular course from recognized University/Institute

h. For Trade Apprentice-Electrician: Matric with 2 year ITI(Electrician) full time, regular course from recognized University/Institute

i. For Trade Apprentice-Electronics Mechanic : Matric with 2(Two) year ITI(Electronics Mechanic) full time, regular course from recognized University/Institute

j. For Trade Apprentice-Instrument Mechanic : Matric with 2(Two) year ITI(Instrument Mechanic) full time, regular course from recognized University/Institute

k. For Trade Apprentice-Machinist : Matric with 2(Two) year ITI(Machinist) full time, regular course from recognized University/Institute

l. For Trade Apprentice -Accountant: Graduate in any discipline(full time course) from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved positions.

2. Period of Apprenticeship Training: 12 Months from date of Engagement

NOTE: Consolidated stipend payable will be as per Apprenticeship Rules with an additional amount of Rs 2500.00 

Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.10.2018( Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST,i.e. upto max of 29 years, 3 years for OBC i.e. upto max of 27 years, for the posts reserved for them). Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation upto 10 years for General category, upto 15 years for SC/ST & upto 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates if considered against reserved positions.

Selection Procedure:
Selection process would consist of two stages i.e written test & personal interview.
