1. Title of Project: Iterative Algorithms and Stability of Functional Equations in Quasi-Banach Spaces
2. Job Description: The research activities will be focused to state and prove iterative algorithms of maps and of the family of maps in quasi-Banach spaces to apply to the convergence for a system of an equilibrium problem and to solutions of integral equations. The scope of work will also include studying the stability of functional equations in quasi-Banach spaces by using the fixed point approach. The selected candidate will visit the collaborators in ASEAN countries every year at regular intervals. TA/DA will be paid for the visits during the project tenure as per the project guidelines.
3. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Mathematics or equivalent with first division.
4. Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to the candidates having knowledge of MATLAB, LATEX, etc.

1. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date of interview through e-mail only. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project. All candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay at Patiala if required. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
2. More Information: Interested candidates should have an Indian Passport as a candidate may need to carry out travel between ASEAN countries during the project tenure at regular intervals as per the project guidelines.
3. Interested candidates may send their application with complete bio-data and photocopies of certificates by post or email (hard copy submitted on spot) to the Principal Investigator on or before June 25, 2019.
