Qualification Details:

Technical Tradesman:
The tenure of Contract for all the Posts will be till 31/10/2021 from the date of joining the Post, thereafter it may be extended for such period(s) depending upon the availability of work and organizational requirement

1. Position: Technical Tradesman (Helicopter)

2. Qulaification: (i) 10+2 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).  AME Course completion from approved DGCA training Institute

3. Desirable: Passed Paper I or module 9,10(Civil Aviationrequirements ) of DGCA  Passed Paper II or module 3,6,7,8( General Engineering) OR  Ex servicemen from IAF/ Army / Navy aviation  (Engine/Airframe/Instruments/ Electrical)

4. Experience : 2 Years of Helicopter Maintenance

5. Desirable:-  Maintenance of Piston engine Helicopters. Ex - servicemen with experience on Helicopter Maintenance

6. Salary:  Consolidated pay of Rs.28,080/- per month.

Flying Instructor:
The tenure of Contract for all the Posts will be till 31/10/2021 from the date of joining the Post, thereafter it may be extended for such period(s) depending upon the availability of work and organizational requirement

1. Position: Flying Instructor

2. Qualification: CHPL/ATPL(H) with FIR(H)/ AFIR(H) and currency in instructional flying of 20 hours within last 6 months OR Clearance to fly from DGCA under Rule 160 OR QFI from the Armed Forces. Candidates with CHPL and/or Instrument Rating is desirable. Refer Aircraft Rules 1937 Rule 160 and schedule II section Q & R for eligibility criteria enclosed at Appendix "B"

3. Job Specification:  Capable of Imparting flying training to Trainee Pilots for the issue of civil flying licenses. Capable of conducting student Pilots' license examination and Flight Radio Telephone Operators (Restricted) license. Capable of imparting training for issue of Assistant Flight Instructors rating Helicopters AFIR(H), FIR (H). Should be able to authorize flights of Helicopters operated by the Academy with the necessary approval. Should be able to carry out skill tests for issue and renewal of Pilots' licenses,with DGCA approval.Should be able to act as overall in charge of the flying training activities of the Academy, with DGCA approval. Should be able to authenticate entries in Pilots log books. Should be able to carry out periodical progress and standardization checks of AFIs/FIs of the Academy. to fly as safety pilot with Trainees as required.

4.Salary: Emoluments : Consolidated emoluments of Rs.2,36,940/-per month and will be covered under the Income Tax Act Rules/Professional Tax etc., as per laid down Rules. The Break-up of the consolidated emoluments is indicated below:  Consolidated Fixed Pay : Rs.82,800/- . Flying Related Allowance: Rs.1,54,140/-.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer:
The tenure of Contract for all the Posts will be till 31/10/2021 from the date of joining the Post, thereafter it may be extended for such period(s) depending upon the availability of work and organizational requirement

1. Position: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

2.  Job Specifications Should be able to:-  Maintain/issue Certificate of Release to service. Supervise and certify snag rectification. Supervise and certify major inspections and component changes. Ensure compliance of service Bulletins, Technical Bulletins, service instructions, Modifications and Air Worthiness Directives. Ensure compliance with all directives issued by DGCA regarding Maintenance of the Helicopters in the Academy. Ensure all audits and inspections carried out as per Schedule. Assist CFI in planning flying task and Maintenance programs. Ensure all documentation is as per DGCA requirements. Ensure all C of A and Annual Review Airworthiness are current and applied for in time.Ensure all documentation is as per DGCA requirements. Coordinate with other divisions/departments of HAL for smooth functioning of Maintenance activities. Project and coordinate procurement of spares and servicing Bench Check/ Calibration of components in time and ensure necessary approval fromCFA is obtained.

3. Salary: Consolidated emoluments of Rs.1,02,720/-per month and will be covered under the Income Tax Act Rules / Professional Tax etc., as per laid down Rules. The Break-up of the consolidated emoluments is indicated below:  Consolidated Fixed Pay : Rs.72,720/-. AME Licence Allowance: Rs.30,000/-.

4. Experience : 5 years Experience on Helicopter maintenance as Technician/BAMEC/CAMO. Preferably Experience on type (Chetak/ Schweizer 330SP/ or 300C)

5. Qualification: Licensed AME with Rotary Wing and Jet and / or Piston Engine Refer Rule 61 Aircraft Rules 1937 for Rotary Wing with Jet Engine and / or Piston Engine for eligibility criteria enclosed at “Appendix - D”

Selection Procedure:
a. The eligible candidates short-listed based on initial screening for the Posts at Sl.No. 1,2,3,4 will be called directly for Interview, Candidates possessing more relevant experience will be considered for Interview. 

b.  Eligible candidates short -listed based on initial screening for the Posts at Sl.No.5 will be called for the Written Test. The selection of candidates will be made exclusively based on the marks secured in the Written test. 

c.  The place of written test centre and Interview is Bangalore. The Date, Time and Venue of Written Test & Interview will be intimated to the short-listed / eligible candidates through individual call letter and the Interview schedule will be hosted on our HAL website.
