Essential: i) Madhyamik Examination of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. ii) National Trade Certificate in the Trade of Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic (Radio & Television) from an Institute affiliated to Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India, with not less than five years’ post-qualification experience; Or Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution with not less than three years’ post-qualification experience; Or National Apprenticeship Certificate after obtaining National Trade Certificate in Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic (Radio and Television) Trade from an Institute affiliated to Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India, with not less than four years’ post-qualification experience; Or National Trade certificate in Broad-Based Basic Training (BBBT) with Advanced Module in Electronics Sector with five years’ experience.
3. Pay: Rs. 7,100 – 37,600 (P.B. 3) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 3,600/- and other allowances.
Age: Not more than 39 years on 01.01.2020.
Application Fee: Rs. 160/- only. No Exemption Of Fee Is Available To S.C/S.T Candidates Of Other States.

5. The prescribed ‘essential qualifications’ are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle applicants to be called for the interview. Where the number of applications received in response to an advertisement is large and it is not conveniently possible to interview all the applicants, the Commission may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of either higher qualification /higher marks/ grade obtained or on the basis of a Preliminary Screening Test (PST).
