Qualification Details:
1. Subject: Recruitment of Engineers on contract basis for work relating to “PMC of Storm Water drains of Greater Chennai Corporation” and “GIS Master plan Project” in Chennai.
2. Terms and Conditions governing the recruitment of Engineers on contract basis: WAPCOS Limited an 'ISO 9001:2015' "Mini Ratna-I" Organization intends to engage Officials for the following posts on contract basis for work relating to “PMC of Storm Water drains of Greater Chennai Corporation” and “GIS Master Plan Project” in Chennai. The requisite qualification and experience prescribed are as under:
3. Site Engineer (PMC Works); Diploma / Graduate in Civil Engineering with about 2 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in civil works related to Water Supply/Sewerage/Storm Water Drains/Roads. ii. Salary Rs.20,000/- per month plus conveyance allowance at Rs.2000/- per month,
3. Site Engineer (GIS Project) - Diploma / Graduate in Civil Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience., ii. Salary Rs.13,000/- per month plus conveyance allowance at Rs.2000/- per month.
Age: 30 years
Note:
1. Those who are working in Govt. Departments/PSU/Autonomous bodies are required to apply through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate at the time of Interview.
2. The posts are purely temporary for the duration of the Project
3. Nature of appointment of the shortlisted candidates will be decided on the basis of suitability, nature of experience, performance of the individual during the interview/Skill Test and last Salary drawn etc.
4. Age and experience shall be counted as on dt.30.11.2019.
5. Applications are to be submitted in the WAPCOS format only & application submitted in other formats will be rejected
6. Applicants should enclose self-certified copies of their educational qualifications and experience certificates without which the applications will be rejected.
7. Relevant experience will be given due weightage.
8. The candidate shall be engaged against above mentioned project only. However, they are liable to be posted anywhere in India or abroad as per exigencies of works of the company. The mere fact that a candidate has submitted his/her application against the advertisement and apparently fulfilling the criteria as prescribed in the advertisement would not bestow on him/her the right to be definitely called for Skill Test / Personal Interview for further engagement.
Selection Procedure:
Management reserves the right to fix the criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Skill Test/Personal Interview., Skill Test / Personal Interview will be conducted to shortlist the candidates.
