1. Position: Recruitment of Assistant Professors/Associate Professors
2. Salary:
a. Associate Professor: Equivalent of Level 13 A2 in 7th CPC (Rs.139600-211300)
b. Assistant Professor Grade (I): Equivalent of Level 12 in 7th CPC (Rs.101500-167400)
c. Assistant Professor Grade (II): Equivalent of Level 11 in 7th CPC (Rs. 68900-117200)
3. Groups &areas:
Positions are open in the following groups. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE):
a. Teaching:AI & Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Software Engineering (with system development experiences), Big Data Analytics, Natural Language Processingand other emerging areas along with abilities and interest to teach Core subjects of CSE including Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases, etc.
b. Research: All areas of CSE including AI & Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Information Retrieval, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Cognitive Science, Cyber Security, Big Data etc.
c. Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE): Teaching, IoT/Cyber Physical Systems, Robotics, VLSI, Communication/Signal Processing and other emerging areas along with abilities and interest to teach and Core subjects of ECE including Circuits and Networks, Signals and Systems, Electronic Circuits, Communication, Electromagnetic Theories, Digital Logic Design, etc.
d. Research: All areas of ECE including IoT/CPS, Semi-Conductors, Robotics, Opto-Nano Electronics, RF and Microwaves, Internet of Things, Visible Light Communication, Wireless Networks, Embedded Systems, MEMS, Energy Harvesting, Communications, Networks, VLSI, etc
4. Qualification: UG and PG degrees in the relevant or related disciplines of Engineering/ Technology and PhD degree in relevant disciplines from recognized universities with excellent academic records. Candidates who have earned their PhD /Post Doc experiences from reputed overseas universities or CFTIs such as IISc, IITs, NITs etc. with high potential for quality teaching and research are encouraged to apply.
a. Associate Professor: Six years post Ph.D. experience of which at least three years at the level of Asst. Professor in Level 12 or equivalent in a reputed Academic Institution, R & D Lab. Or relevant industry
b. Assistant Professor Grade-I (Equivalent to Level 12): Three years of post PhD experience in Level 11/10 from reputed academic Institute / Research and Development Labs or relevant industry
c. Assistant Professor Grade-II (Equivalent to Level 11): One year post Ph.D. experience in Level 10 from reputed academic Institute / Research and Development Labs or relevant industry

Selection Procedure:
If a candidate is called for interview, he/she will not get any right for selection and appointment. There is no system or practice to send any written communication to candidates not called for interview or who are not selected after interview, indicating the reasons for rejections. Institute has the option to limit the number of candidates called for interview considering number of positions to be filled in, specialization requirement, subject discipline, etc.
