Qualification Details:
Applications are invited from Women candidates for engagement/ nomination for the post Of Mahila Police Volunteer (MPVs) who will act as a link between Police and the community and facilitate women in distress.
1. Name Of Post: Mahila Police Volunteer (MPVs)
2. Total number Of Posts under Gomati Tripura District: 213 (Two Hundred Thirteen)
3. Monthly honorarium: at 1000/- per month under scheme of Central Government.
4. Eligibility Criteria:
i. Mahila Police Volunteer (MPV) should be a female and one MPV will be selected from each Gram Panchayat/ Ward.
ii. MPV should not be less than 21 years age.
iii. The incumbent must possess at least 12th Pass certificate.
iv. She should be from the same geographical area and conversant with the local dialect.
v. She must not have been convicted Of imprisonment for the violation of any Criminal Law.
vi. No Criminal proceedings must have been instituted against her.
vii. She should not be a member Of any political party.
viii. Selected candidates will have to submit a self declaration that, she has no criminal proceeding against her and she is not affiliated to any political Party
5. Preference: Candidates those who are permanent residents Of the concerned Gram Panchayat/ Village Committee/ Nagar Panchayat/ Municipal Council/ Police Station/ Police Out Post areas under Gomati Tripura District are to be preferred.

Selection Process:
