CSIR - National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) established in the year 1958 with its headquarters at Nagpur and at present having its five Zonal Centers at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad, is one Of the constituent Institutes Of the Council Of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), a premier multi-disciplinary R & D organization in India which is an autonomous body of the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research under the aegis of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government Of India. The Institute is engaged in Research & Development in the areas of Air Pollution Control Technology, Water and Wastewater Technology. Environmental Biotechnology and Genomics, Municipal Solid and Hazardous Waste Management, Environmental System Design, Cleaner Technology, Environmental Impact & Risk Assessment, Environmental Health Studies, Strategic Urban Management, Environmental Materials, Energy Resources and Management, Climate Change and Capacity Building etc. The Institute is looking for enthusiastic, talented researchers/professionals with brilliant academic record, proven scientific achievements and zeal for innovative research and translational for technology development. 5. Desirable For Senior Scientist: Work Experience in Technology development and deployment in the field for waterbody restoration (Waterbodies would mean: any natural and manmade lakes, ponds. nanas. storm water drains, etc.) with minimum 2 years experience.
6. Job Requirements/Nature Of Job To undertake all the activities for the project execution at all levels, and design and planning for large scale implementation of CSIR technologies. Liasioning with stakeholders, contractors and industries in supporting project execution. R&D in water and wastewater systems.

Experience should preferably be in IITs/llSc Bangalore/llSERs or any similar Indian or foreign institutions of comparable standards.
6. Job Requirements/Nature of Job Management of teaching and training activities such as AcSlR, skill development, etc. Content design for courses. Research in green chemistry/nanotechnology/environmental processes.

6. Job Requirements/Nature of Job Management Scale-up of Biotechnological process. Pilot plants and field demonstration in waste to fuels and bio-waste conversion. Patent filing.
Age: Age Limit: 37 years.

Selection Procedure :
Short listed, his candidature may be considered in absentia by the Selection Committee on his/her written request. The interview by the Selection Committee shall be on modes like video conferencing.

Candidate will login with login credential that he/she had received and Candidate need to fill the basic information like educational qualification. experience details etc. Candidate should have valid documents like Aadhar Card Number/Passport Number (for NRl's).
