Qualification Details:
In terms of Railway Board's letter No. 2020/E(GR)II/Covid-19/WFH/1 DATED 30/06/2020 CMPs are to be engaged.Walk-in-interviews / online video call interviews will be held to engage the CMP from open market on full time contract basis who fulfil the eligibility criteria specified below till 31/12/2020.
1. Position: Engagement Of Contract Medical Practioners On Full Time Contract Basis
2. Remuneration
a. CMP: Rs. 75000/- per month
b. Retired Railway Doctors: Rs. 75000/- per month (for Retired Railway Doctors, subject to the condition that the remuneration plus pension shall not exceed the last pay drawn and the all other usual terms and condition shall apply to both)
3. Vacancies: Total vacancies notified are 14, which will be filled from Open Market
4. Educational/ Professional Oualifications:
a. Degree in Medicine i.e. MBBS (recognized by the Medical Council of India, included in the first or second schedule or part eleven, of the third schedule (other than the Licentiate qualifications to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956). Holders of educational qualifications in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
b. Candidates should have satisfactorily completed the compulsory Rotatory Internship.
c. Doctors serving under State/Central Govt./ Public Sector undertaking etc. may apply with NOC from the respective organizations.
d. Doctors while applying should indicate past services rendered, if any, including the period of contract put in by them on all over Indian Railways.
e. Interview will be on recorded WhatApp conference call from designated number.
f. Applicants may send their application in standard format on a designated e- mailid along with all the relevant documents.
g. Documents verification of only selected candidates will be done at the time of joining and in case of doubt the candidates in the waiting list will be called for joining.
h. Since, the posts over and above the vacancy as per local requirement due to exigencies on temporary measure, no prescribed community distribution (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) is applicable.
i. If sufficient number of UR candidates are not available, age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per extent rules. Age will be reckoned as on date of notification.
Age: Not exceeding 53 years
Notes:
1. Contract can be terminated by the Railway at any time during the contract period by giving 15 days notice without assigning any reason.
2. Retired Doctors (CMPs) who enter into contract with the Railway will not have any claim or rlght for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract. Services rendered as full-time contract Doctors wlll not have any bearing in respect of considering of thelr period in regular selection through UPSC, nor will it confer any right for regularization or absorption.
3. The vacancy is provisional and may increase or decrease as per administrative necessity. There may be waitlisted/stand- by' candidates against the notified panel/select list who may be engaged as per necessity.
4. The engagement of contract Medical Practitioner would be on full time contract basis for a period upto 31.12.2020 only from the date of joining.
5. Period of Contract:- The above mentioned engagement is purely on temporary measure for a period upto 31.12.2020 from the date of engagement, unless extended by further orders.
6. Doctors will be utilized in Quarantine, isolation centers and any other unit depending on the local requirement for handling COVID-19 pandemic.
7. Daily rate of deduction from the pay, for absence will be made on pro-rata basis
Selection Procedure :
1. The vacancy is provisional and may increase or decrease as per administrative necessity. There may be 'wait-listed/stand-by' candidates against the notified panel/select list who may be engaged as per necessity.
2. Date of Recorded WhatsApp conference call interview of selected candidates: Between 09:30 hrs& 18:00 hrs Following Wednesday
3. Date of Scrutiny of Documents; Following Monday. Walk-in-interviews / online video call interviews will be held to engage the CMP from open market on full time contract basis
