Qualification Details:
Oil India Limited intends to engage the following post on contract basis for its on-land operations at Field Head Quarter, Duliajan, Assam purely for temporary requirement as detailed under:
1. Post: Process Engineer on contract
2. Contract Period: Minimum period of one year, extendable by another one year for a maximum period of two years
3. Projected Requirements: 02
4. Educational Qualification: Graduate degree Chemical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized institute and approved by AICTE/ UGC.
5. Post Qualification Experience as on date of Walk in Interview: Minimum two (02) years of postqualification working experience
6. Contract Honorarium per month: ₹ 45,000/-
7. The contract tenure will be extendable depending upon requirement of the company and the performance of the individual, Projected requirements may change. BE/B.Tech/Graduation degrees should be of minimum four (04) years duration and Maters degrees/Post graduation degrees should be of minimum two (02) years duration. Experience requirement will be as detailed in para 6.0 Reservation will be as per Govt. of India guidelines
8. Leave: The selected candidate(s) shall be entitled for 10 days casual leave during six months engagement.
9. Experience Requirement, Job Profile& Responsibilities:
a. The candidates should have working experience in OIL and Gas Industry/Gas ProcessingPlant/Refinery/Petrochemical/Fertilizer Industry etc.
b. The candidates shall have knowledge of safety in hazardous installation and will report to Shift in Charge
c. The candidate should have knowledge of operation/maintenance of pump/compressor/Heat Exchangers/Pressure vessel/Storage vessel/operation of different kinds of valves/PSV/SRV’s is desirable. Working knowledge in DCS/SCADA/PLC control room will be desirable. Candidates should be able to attend operation of the plant as a whole in field & distributed controlSystem and carry out running/maintenance of process equipment under the overall directive of the shift-in charge.
d. Candidates should be able to log periodical readings of operating parameters in the plant during shift and record details regarding running hours of machine/equipment including defect, if any Candidates should be able to carry out all operations necessary for staring/stopping of equipment, and changes in operating parameters of the plant as and when necessary, Candidates should be able to attend to water treatment facilities, Ethyl Mercaptan dosing into LPG etc. in the plant and periodical checking of the same.
e. Candidates should be able to operate switch boards of equipment including Fire Water Pumps as and when necessary.
Age: Upper age limit as on the date of walk in interview for the above posts is 65 years.
General conditions:
1. In view of the current situation arising out of COVID-19 pandemic, any new guidelines issued from Govt. of India will be strictly adhered to and as such the date of walk in Interview might get cancelled/delayed/ extended in line with the govt. guidelines.Hence the interested candidates are advised to keep checking OIL’s website regularly.
2. Candidates are advised to take all necessary precautionary/safety measures (wearing of mask, carrying hand sanitizer, maintaining distance & maintaining hygiene will be mandatory etc.) while reporting walk in Interview.
3. Candidates will be required to join immediately if selected.
4. No Travelling Allowance/ Daily Allowance will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
5. The contract engagement will not confer any right on the candidate for regularization in OIL.
6. The candidates should be of sound health and has to provide a fitness certificate from a Govt. registered medical practitioner at the time of joining in the prescribed format.
7. The candidate will have to submit a character and antecedents verification certificate from concerned authorities at the time of joining
8. Local conveyance @ Rs. 6,000/- per month will be paid.
9. Mobile & Landline telephone reimbursements for due discharge of official responsibilities subject to a maximum of Rs. 1750/- per month or actual whichever is lower, will be paid.
10. Travel/ boarding during all official tours outside the place of posting will be provided/ arranged by OIL and an incidental of Rs. 250/- per day will be paid for the actual number of days worked for OIL outside the place of posting.
11. Any dispute with regard to the engagement against this advertisement will be under the jurisdiction of Dibrugarh district court only.

(c) A set of self-attested photocopies of original mark sheets, pass certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate.
