5. Minimum Educational Qualification:
i. Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline
ii. Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline
iii. I Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
6. Minimum Physical Standards: As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992, and amendments thereof if any.
7. Previous Training/ Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
8. Upon completion of the Apprenticeship periodKarnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship.
Age: Maximum age limit of 22 years for General, age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates will be provided as per Government norms.

Selection Procedure :
1. Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is entrusted with the task of preparation of shortlist from the online application data.
2. Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.
3. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id.
4. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Establishment premises.
5. If some more establishment seek data during the process they will also be invited to attend scrutiny.
6. The list of shortlisted candidates shall be published in the website: http://www.boat-srp.com under Organized Events & News Section in home page.

2. After verification of strident enrolment by BOAT (SR), a student will be able to login and apply

3. For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal
