Appointment of Olympians & Para- Olympians as coach in Sports Authority of India.
Sports Authority of India (SAI) is an autonomous organization under Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS) and society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. SAI is the nodal body for sports development and sports promotion in India. SAI believes in putting the welfare of the sportsperson first and gives paramount importance to their achievements. It is our firm belief that by excelling in their field, sportspersons have added immensely to the national pride. SAI recognizes the fact that achievements of athletes needs to be given weightage to provide him/her the best of facilities during and after their playing career.
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the last date of submission of application.

i) Certificate for the proof of age
ii) Aadhar Card
iii) Certificates to support the essential qualification such as [Diploma in coaching, participation in Asian Games, participation in Olympics, etc.)

Selection Procedure :
1. The selection would be done through Interview of the eligible shortlisted candidates.
2. The shortlisted candidates would be intimated through e-mail/mobile provided by them for attending interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. Coaches appointed under this category would be allowed to continue their sports training as long as they are active sportsperson and maintain desired performance at intemational level. Thereafter, these coaches will have to undergo the diploma in Sports Coaching conducted by NS NIS Patiala, if not already done before they take up the Coaching assignment.
How to Apply :
1. Eligible applicants are required to apply through 'online application Format' available on SAI's website www.sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in. No application through other mode will be accepted. No documents are required to be sent to SAI in connection with the application.
2. Before registering/submitting applications on the website the candidates should possess the following
a) Valid E-mail ID: The e-mail ID entered in the online application form should remain active until the recruitment process is completed. No change in the e-mail ID will be allowed once entered.
b) A facility to take Printout of the Challan form and Registration slip.
c) While applying ON-line candidate should keep the scanned copy of their passport size color photograph and their signature in digital format (.jpg or jpeg file only, each less A then 1 MB size for uploading with application.
3. The candidate can access the online application form at our website. The online registration site would be open from 05/02/2021(Time 05.00 PM) to 26/02/2021 (Time 05:00 PM).
