Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA), Department of Energy and Renewable Energy, Government of Uttarakhand invites online application from the eligible Indian Nationals for the direct recruitment of 06 vacant posts of Project Officers as per following details:

4.Incorporation of UREDA: UREDA is a society registered under the Society Registration Act- 1860 and its amendment, which is working in the field of renewable energy in Uttarakhand State from the financial support of Central and State Government. The expenditure of UREDA is met from the grant provided by the State Government.

5. Nature of Post: The post of Project Officer is non-gazetted/ Permanent/FPF pensionable.

6. Education Qualifications: Degree in Engineering/TechnoIogy from a Govt. recognized university/institute in Civil/MechanicaVRenewabIe energy/ElectricaI/EIectronics/ Power engineering/Power system or in any branch having word Mechanical/EIectricaI/ Electronics with 3 (three) years work experience in the respective field after completion of Degree in Engineeringrrechnology. Or Three years diploma from the Govt. recognized institute in Civil/MechanicaI/Renewable energy/EIectricaI/Electronics/Power engineering/Power system or in any branch having word Mechanical/EIectrical/Electronics with 10 years of work experience in the respective field after completion of 3 years diploma.

General Instructions:

1.  The last date of online application is 13th March, 2021 (Midnight).

2.Candidate will be allowed to appear for the written Test/PersonaI Interview only with the Admit Card/CaII Letter and not with the Registration Slip.

3.Candidate should retain Applicant's copy and Payment receipt for future reference. UREDA reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify/alter the recruitment process, if required, without issuing any further notice, reference or assigning any reason thereafter.

4.Candidate employed in Government Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies shall have to produce NOC at the time of interview, failing which their candidature may be cancelled at that stage. While applying for the above post, the applicant must ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility including academic, professional qualifications and desired experience as per advertisement and other norms mentioned above.

5.In case, it is detected at any stage of recruitment /selection (i.e. during written test/interview/verification of etc.) that a candidate does not fulfill the prescribed eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false /wrong/information or has suppressed any material fact (s), his/her candidature will automatically stand cancelled.

6.If any of the above shortcoming (s) is /are detected even after appointment, his {her service are liable to be terminated without any notice. No application/prayer for relaxation of eligibility norms will be entertained by UREDA.

7.The candidates are requested to go through the prescribed qualification and other particulars carefully before registration and sending examination fees and other document.

8.It will be candidates responsibility to ensure that he/she fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying.

9. Candidate must remain in constant touch with website or for information regarding dates of Written Test/lnterview etc.

10. Category [SC/ST/OBC/EWS/DFF/EXS/Physically Challenged etc.] as submitted in the application cannot be changed thereafter and no benefit of other category reservation will subsequently be made admissible at any stage of the selection process. Category as mentioned at the time of submission shall remain unaltered during the recruitment process. Before filling up category, candidates must ensure that he/she actually belongs to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/EWS etc.

11. Correspondence with candidates shall be done Registered/Speed Post and SMS only. All information regarding examination schedule/ downloading of admit card/interview call letter etc. Shall be uploaded in or website and will be provided to the concerned candidate through SMS. The candidate will be responsible for receiving; downloading and printing of admit card and any other information. UREDA will not be responsible for any loss of SMS sent, due to invalid/wrong Mobile no provided by the candidate or for delay/non receipt of information. If a candidate fails to access his/her mobile in time.

12. No request for change of examination centre shall be entertained. However, UREDA reserves the right to cancel or add any centre depending on the response of the candidates in that area/center.

13. Application form not properly filled in or incomplete in any respect or without requisite documents would be summarily rejected.

14. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidates.

15. Candidates must fulfill the essential qualification as per layout as shown herein above by the closing date of online registration. Application form candidates who will acquire the prescribed qualification after the closing date of online registration will not be entertained.

16. UREDA/GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology shall take no responsibility in case of failure in registration, failure to download Admit Card for appearing in the various stages of selection test.

17. This to be noted that mere submission of application or of Admit Card/CalI Letter or appearance in examination does not guarantee in selection/appointment in the respective post. Selection of candidates will be made strictly based on merit position, available vacancy, verification of original document /certificates, clear police verification report and medical test.

18. Mobile No. once given cannot be changed by the candidate under any circumstances. All correspondence /communication/ information to the candidates will be made through SMS. Candidates are further advised to regularly visit concerned website or bttp:// to get updated information.

19. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances. No other mode like Postal Order/Pay Order/l)emand Draft etc. for submission of application fees will be accepted.

20. In ease of multiple registrations by a candidate the last registration will only be considered for subsequent processing.

21. A candidate must abide by the instructions as may be given by the supervisor/ invigilator of the Examination Hall/Room. If the candidate fails to do so or indulges in disorderly or improper conduct he/she will render himself/herself liable to expulsion from the examination hall or such other punishment as the authority fit to impose.

22. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be admissible to the reserved category candidates of Uttarakhand State against the reserved post only as per the prevailing order of Government of Uttarakhand. Reservation/Age relaxation will not admissible if the requisite certificate issued by the competent authority of Uttarakhand State is not attached with the application.

23. Candidates serving in Government/Quasi-Government Department shall have to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview which should also clearly indicate that there is no vigilance/disciplinary enquiry case pending against him/her.

Selection Procedure :

Recruitment process: The selection of the candidate shall done on the basis of written examination and interview. The written examination shall be of 3 hours containing objective type of questions and will be divided into 4 sections. 50 questions shall be asked from the General Aptitude, 50 questions from Renewable Energy related, 50 questions from Energy Efficiency related and 50 questions from the Engineering field. Each question shall carry I mark, 1/4 mark shall be deducted for wrong answers and no marks shall be given on the unanswered questions. The Candidates of schedule caste and schedule tribe shall mandatory require to secure minimum 30% marks and candidates belonging to other category candidates shall mandatory be required to secure 50% marks in the written examination. In each category, the candidates shall be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of I :3 on the merit list of written examination. The interview will be of 25 marks.

The merit list will be made for the shortlisted candidates from the written examination and will be called for an interview. The final selection of the candidates shall be made on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination (total marks 200) and interview (total marks 25).

The final selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of (87.5% weightage) of written examination marks i.e 200 and interview (12.5% weightage marks 25). Thus the candidates obtained the maximum marks in 200 marks of written examination and 25 marks of the interview shall be selected on the basis of prepared merit list. If 2 or more candidates obtain the same/equal marks then the one who obtains more marks in written examination shall be given preference in the merit list. In case it is again found tied than whoever is older will be given preference.

Date of written examination and interview: The information regarding the written examination and interview shall be given to candidates through registered/Speed post and SMS. No travelling allowances shall be paid to candidates for their participation in written examination and interview.
