Qualification Details:
Operationalization of upgraded BPHCs/PHCs for providing Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric Care Services (CE OC) and upgraded Primary Health Centre into fully functional 10 bedded 24 hours facilities is one of the important objectives under the National Rural Health Mission. Walk-in Interview will be held for Medical Graduates/Post Graduates and Retired Medical Officers of the Armed Forces / Central and State Government / Central and State Public Sector Corporations / Undertaking for preparing a panel for the post of GDMOs for engagement from time to time at any upgraded
BPHC/PHC in the district of Purba Bardhaman.
1. Post Name: General Duty Medical Officer
2. Pay Scale : Rs.- 60,000/- ( Consolidated) per month.
3. Qualification: MBBS degreed (in accordance with the regulation made by the Medical Council of India in 1998 Published in part-111, Section-4 of the Gazette of India dated 5th December 1998) and preferably one year Housestaffship, relaxable in case of retired Medical Officer
General Information :
1. The appointments would be on purely contractual basis initially for a period of II months renewable at end of term subject to satisfactory performance.
2. All candidates should be registered as medical practitioner with the West Bengal Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
3. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same entitle the candidate to apply but not for selection.
4. The applicants must report for walk-in interview in the specified venue at least 30 minutes before the time as per the schedule mentioned below, along with the specified pre-filled up proforma.
5. The information provide in the proforma must be supported by corroborative documents including their residential proofs, votar Identity Card etc. which must be produced for verification on the interview day and no benefits / claims for any qualification / experience shall be admitted unless the same are supported by authenticated documentary evidence.
6. The General Duly Medical Officers are likely to be posted in upgraded PHCs & BPHCs all over Purba Bardhaman.
7. Selected doctors would have to stay at their respective place of posting. For the candidates appearing at the Walk-in-Interview there will be an age limit of 65 years as on 01/01/2021, as per norms of H&FWS. But the candidates should be physically fit enough to attend the BPHC/PHC daily.
