Qualification Details:
West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti will engage personnel on contract basis for different positions, as mentioned below, under National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal purely on contractual basis against consequential vacancies.
All the essential criteria must be completed on or before the first date of online application. The details of the positions are given below:
1. Name of the Position: District Consultant PH & CD
2. No of vacancy: : 14 (SC-2, ST-2, OBC-A -1, OBC-B-2, PWD-I, UR-6)
3. Place of Posting: AIipurduar, Basirhat HD, Cooch Behar, Dakshin Dinajpur, Jalpaiguri, Jhargram, Murshidabad, Nadia, Nandigram HD, Paschim Bardhaman, Purba Medinipur, Purulia, Rampurhat HD, Uttar Dinajpur.
4. Remuneration : 40,000 per month
5. Essential Qualification : M.Sc. (Entomology) / M.Sc. (Life Sciences) with Zoology as one of the paper at Graduation level.
6. Essential Experience: Minimum 6 months working experience in a Health Programme in Govt. Sector/ Govt. undertaking / local self Govt. (PhD/ M.Phil. period will not be counted as experience)
7. Desirable Qualification : PhD/ M.Phil. in any subject taught in M.SC.(Zoology)

Age limit (as on 01.01.2021): Not exceeding 40 years, and not less than 21 years
General Information for the Applicants/ Candidates:

4. Experience will be calculated after obtaining the required essential academic qualification for the above mentioned Position, till the starting date of online application.
5. Caste Certificate issued before the first date of online application, by the competent authorities of West Bengal only will be accepted. In case of OBC candidates. category 'A' or "B" must be mentioned specifically in the caste certificate, otherwise the caste certificate will not be accepted.
6. The Disability Certificate must be issued before the first date of online application, by the competent authorities. Hard copy/print copy of the online reqistration form (printed within the last date of on-line application), should be retained by all applicants for document verification purpose.
7. Without registration form, no candidates will be entertained for original testimonials verification by the authority.

9. Marking after rounding off up to 2 decimal points will be considered

Selection Process :
1. Only shortlisted candidates based on the scoring as mentioned below will be called for original testimonial verification, computer Test and Interview.
2. Consultant VBD :
i. 50 (Proportionate marking on % of marks obtained in M.Sc. Examination
ii. 15 (PhD / M Phil.)
iii. Working Experience: 10
iv. Computer literacy: 10
v. Interview: 15
3. District Consultant PH & CD:
i. 50 (Proportionate marking on % of marks obtained in M.Sc. Examination
ii. 10 (PhD / M Phil.)
iii. Working Experience: 10
iv. Computer literacy: 15
v. Interview: 15
4. Insect Collector:
i. 60 (Proportionate marking on % of marks obtained in the Class X or equivalent Examination
ii. 25 (Higher secondary or equivalent exam)
iii. Interview: 15
How to Apply :
i) Last date of Registration : Midnight of 21st February, 2021.
ii) Last date of Submission of application : 23rd February, 2021 (up to banking hours for off-line payment mode)
iii) Last date of full Submission of form : Midnight of 26th February, 2021.
iv) The online deposition of application fees can be done through net banking or credit/debit card system through an online interface. If the payment is successful, the candidate will be immediately reverted back to the link for final submission of the application form by using the application id already at the time of Registration.
v) If the candidate wants to submit the requisite fee through offline mode he/she can do so with system generated e-challan. The fee can be deposited in any branch of United Bank of India (UBI) with the print out of the system generated e-challan after duly filling up the three parts of the challan.
vi) Out of the three parts of the challan, bank will keep one part and hand over the other two parts to the candidate. Candidates must preserve both copies with him/her for future reference.
