Qualification Details:
1. Name of the post: Junior Research Assistant (JRA)
2. No. of post: 02
3. Name of project: Comparative study of various configurations of LEMs and design, analysis of linear permanent magnet synchronous motors
4. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 35000/-
5. Minimum qualification: M.E./M. Tech. (Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics/Mechanical/Automobile)
6. Preference:
(a) Valid GATE score of any year
(b) Background in Design of Electrical Machine Design
(c) Must have used Finite Element Analysis for design and Analysis of Electrical Machines
(d) Proficiency in Ansys Maxwell/ Matlab and Simulink for implementation of Electric Drive
7. Job requirement: The job involves
a) Design simulation and analysis of Linear Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors for EMALS application, thermal analysis
b) Design, simulation and analysis of complete drive system. For LEM
8. Tenure: The position is purely temporary and is for a period of maximum 09 months OR co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier
Age:
Not to exceed 35 Years Upper age-limit is relaxable up to 05 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST and up to 03 years in case of candidates belonging to OBC
General Information :
1. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in Funding Agency or in COE Pune.
2. Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project
3. The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions.
4. The prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of same does not entitled candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to this advertisement is large, it will not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendations of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field at the time of applying.
5. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
6. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
7. No interim enquiries / correspondence / communication of any sort will be entertained in the matter.
8. Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence, political, or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
