Qualification Details:
1. Title: SDGCC Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Lead

2. Education: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Development, International Relations, Public and Business Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences or related field.

3. Experience: 

a) At least 7-10 years’ experience in the field of resource mobilization in the development sector and in the private sector

b) Relevant experience with CSR, Corporate Sector, INGO, International Foundation, Multilateral funding agency, government at the national level or sub-national level being responsible for Resource Mobilization and Private Sector, Voluntary Sector partnerships.

c) Experience in leading a team or sub-offices as part of a larger organization or entity.

d) Excellent written and oral Communication skills and knowledge of Computer Skill sets including Internet and Office.

4. Language Requirements: Fluency in written and oral English and Hindi. 

5. Remuneration package is INR 1,52,593/- per month (taxable). UNDP also offers additional benefits which include medical insurance coverage and limited pension reimbursement for contract holder and encourages work life balance.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Under the supervision of the SDGCC Project Head, SJHIFM , the incumbent will:

1. Identify partnership opportunities –CSR, core business operations, philanthropy; Public- Private Partnership Opportunities

a) Map and analyse of work of Private Sector, CSR, NGOs, Voluntary Organisations, Not for Profit Organisations, Think Tanks and philanthropic organizations within Haryana in relation to the SDGs. 

b) Scan the environment for private sector partnership opportunities using partner specific analysis, needs and comparative strengths; 

c) Support SDGCC advocacy efforts on CSR and engagement with the private sector on priority SDG areas; 

d) Assist in resource mobilization by preparing the background analysis, partner consultations, and high-level meetings to facilitate a closer cooperation with the private sector;

e) Offer new avenues of innovative financing for development works by exploring association with banking institutions, venture capital organisations, micro finance institutions and other Financial Institutions as applicable.

f) Take the lead in establishing and maintaining strategic contacts and association with relevant partners, follow-up proactively on engagement ideas and work closely with GoH SDG Leads and SDGCC leads;

2. Develop partnership strategy and implementation framework;

a.Ensure planning and design of Resource Mobilisation and Private Sector Engagement strategy for SDGCC

b. Delineate the strategic role of private sector partnerships for SDGCC and opportunities of Resource Mobilisation and partnerships;  

c. Develop and help implement SDGCC project’s strategy making the business case for a closer private sector engagement focussing on both partnerships in CSR and core businesses;

d. Conceptualise and Launch a Private Sector, Voluntary Organizations, Not for profit organizations, SDGCC Platform for Haryana

e. Map NGOs, CSRs, Voluntary Organizations, Not for profit organizations, private sector organizations, Foundations & Chain activities in Haryana

3. Leverage and mobilize CSR resources in SDGCC projects and programmes; 

a) Facilitate outreach and partnership development in identified sectors and programme areas and work with the programme units to formalize subsequent project proposals;

b) Identify suitable partnership instruments and operational modalities for engagement with the private sector, NGOs, Voluntary Organisations, Not for profit organizations and think tanks within the existing laws and regulatory framework;

c) Map and track SDGCC’s need for potential private sector, NGOs, Voluntary Organizations, Not for Profit Organizations, engagement initiatives and CSR activities aligned with overall private sector engagement plan;

d) Identify the Private Sector, SDG CHAMPIONS for each SDG among the CSR organisations
