3. Senior Resident(3 Years)
(i) MBBS and MD/MS/DNB Degree from MCI recognized Medical College/Institution.
(ii) Qualifications and Experience as per Teachers Eligibility Criteria available in MCI website for MD/MS/DNB Degree holders.
(iii) DMRD candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Senior Resident in Radio Diagnosis department.
(iv) Should have registered with MCI or State Medical Council.
A. Remuneration:-Initial Pay in Level -11 with basic pay of Rs. 67,700/- plus other allowances as applicable under 7th CPC. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed.
4. Senior Resident(1Year)
(i) MBBS and MD/MS/DNB Degree from MCI recognized Medical College/Institution.
(ii) Qualifications and Experience as per Teachers Eligibility Criteria available in MCI website for MD/MS/DNB Degree holders.
(iii) Should have registered with MCI or State Medical Council.
B. Remuneration:- Rs. 1,01,000/- pm. No other allowances in any form shall be admissible. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed. The above engagement will be for a maximum period of one year or appointment of regular incumbents whichever is earlier.

Not exceeding 45years on the date of interview (As per MCI Norms) (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-SM Candidates as per Government rules in respect of vacancies reserved for them).

(a) All the candidates are requested to appear for document verification within the time scheduled time (09.00AM – 11.00 AM) with proper protection like wearing face mask and carrying sanitizer and maintaining social distance. No candidate will be entertained to attend document verification after 11.00 AM on all scheduled dates as mentioned above.
(b) Candidates, whose document verified only will be allowed to attend walkin interview.
(c ) Three Posts in Senior Resident (3 years tenure) are horizontally reserved for PwD category in identified posts.
(d) Reservation of posts, Age relaxation is applicable as per Central Government Rules/Policy.
(e) Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital reserve the right to vary these vacancies including increase or decrease or cancellation of filling up of any or all post without assigning any reason at the discretion of the appointing authority.

Candidates who have worked already as a Senior Resident under 3 years Central Residency Scheme for 3 years are not eligible for applying for the post of Senior Resident. Senior Resident who are already working in any Govt. institution shall apply through proper channel. The total period however, should not exceed the maximum period of 03 Years.
General Terms and Conditions
1. Senior Resident – The tenure of 3years for Senior Residents is subject to satisfactory performance evaluation on annual basis. No extension beyond 3 years of the tenure.
2. Senior Resident (3 years tenure) will be eligible for kinds of leaves as admissible to temporary government employees in accordance with the provisions of CCS (Leave) Rules 1972.
3. For Senior Resident (1 year tenure): The appointment/ engagement will be for one year only under consolidated remuneration basis. They will be entitled for leave, maternity leave etc. as per the Contractual Labour [Regulation & Abolition Act] 1970.
4. Rules for Reservation will be implemented as per Govt. of India instructions.
5. The Appointment shall not confer any right or preference for regular appointment.
6. No claim for any service benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical allowances, Medical benefits, Seniority, Promotion etc. will be admissible.
7. Candidate must be registered with State Medical Council/Dental Council or Medical Council of India as applicable, before joining the post.
8. Candidate in the Government Service should submit “No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of Interview and Relieving order at the time of joining.
9. No TA/DA will be admissible for interview or joining.
10. ESI Corporation may increase or decrease or cancel filling up of any or all posts without assigning any reason at the discretion of the Appointing Authority.
11. Candidates applying in OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PWD Category must possess the certificate issued by competent authority, valid for admission/ job in Central Govt. Institutions issued before the date of interview, failing which he/she shall not be allowed to appear in interview for the reserved category. However, he/she can be treated as UR Candidate.
12. The candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation on grounds of belonging to OBC [non-creamy layer] should submit the community certificate in prescribed vide Govt. of India, Department of Personnel and Training O.M No. 36036/2/2013-Estt(Res) dated 30.05.2014 failing which the benefits of reservation /relaxation will not be given and their application shall be rejected and no request /correspondence will be entertained. Certificate issued in other formats will not be accepted and the candidature will be treated as “General Category” for all purposes.
13. The candidates appointed under PWD quota will be adjusted against the vacancy of respective categories of SC/ST/OBC and UR quota. The disability certificate should be issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Government Hospitals/Institutions.
14. The DEAN has the discretion to increase/decrease the number of vacancies depending on actual requirement or to cancel this recruitment or to withdraw offer of appointment.
15. The Senior Resident so selected will be required to submit acceptance/consent letter in writing before appearing for medical examination.

How to Apply :
1. Walk in interview is scheduled to be held at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, K.K Nagar, Chennai - 78 to fill up the following vacancies on contractual tenure basis as per the schedule mentioned below.
2. The candidates are advised to bring their all Original Certificates with one set of self-attested photocopies of the following during document verification.
(i) Identity Proof [PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhar Card etc.]
(ii) Address Proof [Ration Card, Passport, Driving License, Aadhar Card etc.]
(iii) Certificate showing Date of Birth [10th Certificate/Birth Certificate] No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC candidate applying for unreserved vacancies.
(iv) Two Recent passport size photographs.
(v) Photocopies of Aadhar Card/PAN Card and Bank Passbook [At the time of joining for only selected candidates]
(vi) Class 10th& 12th Mark Sheets or Certificates.
(vii) MBBS and MD/MS/DNB/DMRD certificate whichever is applicable for Senior Residents,and Junior Residents respectively. For other posts relevant Degree/Post Graduate whichever is applicable.
(viii) Registration with Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council [For Medical Candidates]
(ix) Internship Completed Certificate.
(x) Reservation category Certificate [OBC*/SC/ST/PH/EWS] in the format prescribed by Govt. of India.(* Candidate should belong to non-creamy layer of central lists of OBC).
