Education Qualification :
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the engagement of Consultant -A –Information Technology (IT) on contract basis
1. Name of position : Consultant-A – IT – Application Development and Database management.
2. Number of positions : Two (2)
3. The position will be based at Chennai. However, the post will involve travelling outside Chennai for performing official duties.
4. Terms of Reference:
i. Developing Web applications (both front-end and back-end) and data base management, especially in open source softwares like HTML5, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, etc. – for office automation.
ii. Deployment of developed Application in Web Server for access through intranet and internet.
iii. Dynamic graphical representation of data table values.
iv. Full Stack development.
v. Report generation and maintenance of DB.
vi. IT assistance to senior officers.
vii. Coordination with NIC and other Service Providers for development and deployment of organization specific application software.
viii. Trouble shooting, maintenance and improvement of existing application software.
ix. Imparting training to staff on implementation of application software.
x. Coordination with State Biodiversity Boards for implementation of integrated application software.
xi. Any other related work as being assigned periodically by the competent authorities.
5. Qualification and Experience:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in computer science / application / information technology / artificial intelligence with 9 years’ experience. or Four years’ Engineering/Technology degree in computer science/ application / information technology / artificial intelligence with 8 years’ experience. or Master’s degree in computer science / application / information technology / artificial intelligence with 7 years’ experience.
(ii) The 7/8/9 years’ experience should be in:
a. Development of Web applications (both frontend and backend) and Database Management especially in open source software like HTML5, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, etc.
b. Deployment and maintenance of Developed Application (including applications developed by third parties) in Web Server for access through intra-net and internet.
c. Dynamic graphical representation of data table values.
d. Full Stack development.
e. Report generation and maintenance of DB.
6. Desirable
i. Diploma / Certificate courses in Application Development Software.
ii. Experience in publication design software like illustrator, in design, Corel draw etc.
iii. Working experience in Govt/Govt related organizations and Projects executed through Govt. organizations.
7. Remuneration: An all inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty thousand only) per month will be paid and it is subject to TDS at the rates applicable. No other allowances including conveyance will be payable
Age:
The maximum age limit is 50 years as on the last date prescribed for the receipt of the applications.
Note:
1. Applicants are also requested to note that no typing / computer operator assistance will be provided to the Consultant for carrying out assignment and he/she has to carry out the work, on his/her own, if engaged.
2. The final outcome of any developed application software / paper / guidelines / report / notes / briefs etc. prepared by the Consultant will become the property of NBA. No ownership / authorship / copy right can be claimed on any developed application / written report / material prepared by the Consultant
3. The Consultant should not take up any other assignment during the period of his / her engagement in NBA. He/she may be required to work on Saturdays / Holidays also, if need be, for which no additional remuneration will be paid. In each of the offer of work order issued, specific conditions may be laid down for compliance by the Consultant.
4. The Consultant may have to undertake tours as and when directed by the competent authority and travel entitlements shall be as prescribed by NBA. However, no TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion.

Selection Procedure :
In case of any dispute about the interpretation of any point / clause / condition / rule, etc. the decision of the Chairman, NBA shall be final.

1. 2. Incomplete / handwritten applications will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
3. Applications from the eligible / suitable and willing candidates in the prescribed format in the Annexure may also be forwarded along with bio-data to e-mail ID: jobs@nbaindia.in on or before 1st June, 2021. The applications sent through e-mail should bear the signature of the candidature along with the scanned copy of the recent passport size photograph. Applications received without the signature of the applicant will be summarily rejected
4. No correspondence regarding the stage / processing of applications will be entertained from the candidates. Canvassing, in any form, will disqualify the candidate.
