2. Description:
NDDB offers excellent work environment with considerable freedom for innovation. We are looking for experienced professionals for our ICT Group to work in INAPH team. INAPH (Information Network for Animal Productivity & Health), facilitates the capturing of real time data on Animal Identification, Breeding, Nutrition and Health Service delivered at Farmer’s Doorstep. The Platform provides a tool for farmer, field functionaries, Union, Federation and NDDB to assess & monitor the progress of the projects in near real time basis.
3. Post Name: Officer-on-Special Duty
4. Profile Summary: Designing and developing adavnced applications for the Android platform. Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Bug fixing and improving application performance.
5. Key roles and Responsibility:
i. Develop, customize, implement and support Android & Web Application solutions
ii. Android and Web Application programming, customization, troubleshooting & maintenance and integration with other applications.
iii. Support current team of ICT responsible for maintenance and support of ICT Applications
iv. Development & Implementation support for reporting & analytical tool
6. Qualification & Experience: B.E./M.E. (IT/Computers) or B.Tech./M.Tech (IT/Computers) or MSc (Computer Science) or MCA or equivalent with minimum 5 years of working experience
7. Location: Anand
8. This position is on a fixed term for a period of 1 (one) year.

10. Required Experience and Skills:
i. Experience in Android, JAVA & .NET application development.
ii. Experience in Android SDK, different version of Android
iii. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
iv. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
v. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
vi. Experience working with JSON
vii. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape. Architectures, trends and emerging technologies
viii. Solid understanding of full mobile development life cycle
ix. Exposure of multi-layered architecture.
x. Best practices practiced in JAVA and .NET stack.
xi. Addressing UI, communication frameworks.
xii. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
xiii. Database (MS SQL Server, SQLite).
xiv. Web service development and hosting on server.
xv. Knowledge about Window service and Console service.
xvi. Responsive web design e.g. Bootstrap frame work.
xvii. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
