Qualification Details:
Filling up the post of Executive Director(Technical), National Mission for Clean Ganga(NMCG) in the Department of Water Resources, RD & GR, Ministry of Jal Shakti on deputation basis-reg.
I am directed to say that Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation proposes to fill up the post of Executive Director(TechnicaI), National Mission for Clean Ganga(NMCG), a General Central Service, Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministeriat post in the pay matrix level- 14 (Rs. 144200-218200/-) on deputation basis.
1. Post: Executive Director(Technical)
2. Eligibility: Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Recognized Research Insåtutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organizations are eligible who has following qualification
(i) holding analogus post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii) with minimum three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level 13 (Rs. 123100-215900/-) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; or
(iii) with minimum eight years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200/-) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and (b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
A. Essential: -Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering/Technology from recognised University or equivalent; and Fifteen years of working experience in the field of Water Resources Management, construction, operation & maintenance of pollution abatement project.
B. Desirable: - M.E./M.Tech in Environment Engineering/Public Health Engineering/River & Lake conservation/Water Resources/HydroIogy/STP
Age:
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

2. It is requested that wide circulation may be given to the post and applications of eligible and willing officers, in triplicate, duly completed and signed by the officer concerned in the enclosed proforma & countersigned by the sponsoring authority along with requisite certificate/documents may be forwarded to the undersigned within 45 days from the date of publication of this circular in the Employment News. While forwarding the applications the sponsoring authority may certify that:
a. particulars given by the applicant are correct
b. His/her integrity is certified.
c. There is no vigilance or disciplinary case is either pending or contemplated against the applicant
d. No major/minor penalty has been imposed on him/her during the last 10 years Or A list of major/minor penalties imposed on him/her during the last 10 years is enclosed (as the case may be)
e. His/Her CR Dossier in original is enclosed/photocopies of the APARs for the last five (5) years duly attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent.
3. The officer selected will have the option to draw his pay in the pay matrix plus deputation (duty) allowance or his pay fixed in the pay matrix of the deputation post subject the restrictions contained in the Department of Personnel & Training O.M. No. 6/8/2009- Estt.(Pay II) dated 17.06.2010 (as amended from time to time).
