ITI Apprentice - 01 Post

Qualification Details:
Under the provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961, Nuclear Fuel Complex invites applications from ITI Pass candidates for one year Apprenticeship Training in the following Trades:

1. Name of the Post: ITI Apprentices

2. Stipend: Rs. 8,050/- p.m. and Rs. 7,700/- p.m.

3. Qualification: Candidates who have passed 10th and ITI in respective Trades during 2018, 2019 & 2020 only eligible to apply.

4. Trade: 

a) Attendant Operator(Chem Plant)

b) Electrician

c) Electronics Mechanic

d) Fitter

e) Instrument Mechanic

f) Laboratory Assistant (Chem Plant)

g) Machinist

h) Turner

i) Carpenter

j) Computer Operator & Programming Assistant(COPA)

k) Stenographer(English)

l) Mechanic Diesel

m) Plumber

n) Welder

Age:
Age of the apprentice should not be less than 18 years as on closing date of application.

General Instructions:
1. The offer of Apprenticeship does not confer any right of employment in NFC.

2. There is no provision for appointment of the Apprenticeship Trainee in NFC after the completion of training and candidate cannot claim for the same.

3. Selected candidates shall be required to report at NFC, Hyderabad.

4. Age of the apprentice should not be less than 18 years as on closing date of application.

5. Candidates for Technician (ITI) Apprentice must have registered their names at National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal i.e. apprenticeshipindia.org and can apply through portal only.

6. Candidates are advised to check their emails periodically and keep the same active during the selection process.

7. Reservation will be applied as per provisions of the ApprenticeshipAct, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time. Candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC must mention same at the time of registration in NAPS portal otherwise they will be considered in General. Also, those registered under SC/ST/OBC must bring original certificate to this effect at the time of joining.

8. Suppression of facts by the applicants shall lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.

9. Verification of credentials shall be done and in case of any deviation from or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.

10. The selected candidates are required to submit the Medical Fitness Certificate, Caste Certificate and Police Verification Certificate (PVC) along with all other mandatory forms.

11. Selected candidates are entitled for stipend as per the provision of Apprentice Act, 1961. The Apprentices are not eligible for any other financial/service benefits except the monthly Stipend applicable during the period of Training.

12. The Training of the Apprentice shall be terminated without intimation following unauthorized absence of the candidate to training for a period of more than 15 days.

13. No TA & DA shall be admissible for joining, if selected.

14. The selected candidates must execute a Contract for a period of one year of training as per provision of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and rules framed there under.

15. Any canvassing or personal follow up with an intention of inducing the process of selection of apprentice by and on behalf of any candidate shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.

16. The fresh pass out candidates (passing their respective courses in 2018, 2019 & 2020) only can apply: Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2018 are not eligible. Candidates with post Graduation are not eligible to apply.

17. The candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.

18. Graduate Degree holders who had undergone Training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualifications shall not eligible for being engaged as Apprentice under the Act.

19. The period of the Training will be 12 Months commencing from the execution of the contract of Apprenticeship.

20. All correspondence with the candidates shall be done through e-mail only.

21. NFC reserves the right to decide about the number of Apprentices to be engaged in each Trade and also to cancel the Advertisement in Toto without mentioning any reasons due to official exigencies.

22. In case of any dispute, the decision of the NFC Management shall be final.

Selection Process :
No interview will be held due to the ongoing Pandemic.

1. ITI Pass candidates who are willing to join as Apprenticeship Trainee for a period of one year in NFC are required to apply through NAPS portal viz., apprenticeshipindia.org

2. Candidates in each Trade will be selected in the order of the Merit and the communication will be sent to the shortlisted candidates only through e-mail.

How to Apply :
1. Last date for submission of Applications along with necessary copies of certificates in NAPS Portal is 05.06.2021.

2. Applications received after due date/incomplete are liable to be rejected.

3. The candidates who have already applied in the NAPS Portal against NFC need not apply again. Their Applications will be considered for screening along with all other candidates.

4. The guidelines with respect to Reservations for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be followed as per Government Orders.

5. No interview will be held due to the ongoing Pandemic.
