Applications are invited from Dynamic and Meritorious Indian nationals for the post of ‘Project Engineer’ (PE) on ‘Defined Limited Tenure Basis’ in various disciplines of Engineering for Design, Development, Testing & Evaluation of various Systems/Sub-systems and
i. Project Management from Institutes of Technology, Research Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings and other non-Government bodies or Central (including serving / retired officers of Defence Forces) and State Government Departments having the required qualification, experience and age.

4. Nature and area of Experience required:
a. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Dynamic analysis, familiarity with FE analysis packages and MATLAB.
b. Minimum 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following: (a) Conducting vibration tests (such as Ground vibration test and modal test). (b) Flutter analysis packages. (c) Analyzing vibration data using MATLAB.
c. Minimum 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas : (a)Experimental Aerodynamics (b) Computational Aerodynamics (c) Aircraft Performance (d) Flight Mechanics.
d. Minimum 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas : (a) Modeling and Simulation of Electrical (b) Power Generation and Distribution system. (c) Software like Python/C/C++/AutoCAD/ MATLAB/LABVIEW (d) Aircraft integration/Harness Design and Testing. (e) High Voltage Lightning and protection schemes
e. Minimum 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas : (a) Design Architecture of Mechanical System and subsystem of a combat Aircraft. (b) Functionality/ design/ integration/ manufacturing aspects of Auxiliary Power Systems. (c) Gear Box Design
f. Minimum 2 years’ experience in design & development of aircraft mechanical systems and its associated components.
g. Minimum 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas : (a) Modeling using CATIA V5 (b) Preparation of Design drawings by Tolerance (c) Analysis of the assembly for fits and tolerances by modeling. (d) Co-ordinate assembly and testing activities (Hydraulic /Fuel System LRUs)
h. Minimum 2 years’ experience in required using one or more of the following : (a) Multi-domain modeling (b) Simulation tools such as MATLAB / Simulink, Dymola/AmeSim.
i. Minimum 2 years’ experience required in two or more of the following areas : (a) Data center (b) Server administration (c) HPC system administration (d) NAS/SAN admin (e) Virtualization technologies.

Maximum Age (as on closing date of the online registration of application): 35 yrs - 55 yrs
General Conditions:
(a) Only Indian nationals need apply.
(b) Project Engineers are bound by provisions of Project Engineer Scheme of ADA as amended from time to time.
(c) ADA will engage Project Engineers on Limited tenure basis for a maximum duration of FIVE years only and initially the offer for engagement will be issued for THREE years. The initial tenure of 3 years may either be curtailed or extended further for two years based on the requirement and need of ADA as well as depending upon the performance of the individual during the period. Project Engineers have no right or claim for permanent absorption in ADA.
(d) Candidates should be in possession of first class degree certificate awarded by the University at the time of submitting the application. Provisional Degree certificate will be accepted only from the candidates passed-out during the previous year.
(e) First Class in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University is mandatory. In case a particular University / institute does not have any criteria for First Class or equivalence, 60% marks will be taken as equivalent to first class for that University / institute. In such cases, where conversion formula is not available, CGPA/CPI of 6.75 (for a 10 point scale) will be taken as equivalent to 60% as per AICTE guidelines. No rounding off of marks is permitted.
(f) The applicants should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria as on the closing date of online submission of application. The prescribed Essential Qualifications and Experience are bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for the interview.
(g) Candidates wishing to apply for more than one post should submit their applications separately for each post with all the required documents.
(h) Educational qualifications and experience are two separate items of requirements. Candidates should possess the prescribed experience in the relevant fields as mentioned under the column ‘Nature and area of experience’, preferably in Aeronautical / Aerospace Industry. The experience prescribed should have been obtained after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification.
(i) Project Engineers are authorized for monthly remuneration plus Dearness Allowance at the rate of 50% of DA as applicable to Central Govt. employees on the consolidated remuneration as mentioned in para 3(A) above. Other than that, they are not entitled for any other allowances / financial benefits or schemes such as Provident Fund, House Rent Allowance, Children Education Allowance, medical, transport, telephone bill reimbursement, Leave Travel Concession etc. as applicable to regular employees of ADA. However, TA/DA for official travel on ADA’s requirement will be borne by ADA.
(j) The period of training/apprenticeship/part time basis /daily wages/ visiting/guest faculty will not be counted as work experience. Maximum weightage up to 3 years only will be given for the work experience as Research Fellow / Research Associate / Project Assistant etc.
(k) The applications will be screened for preliminary online interview by a committee based on the educational qualifications, experience at suitable level, professional achievements, aptitude for design, development, management skills & personal qualities and strengths. The candidates should therefore mention all qualifications/ experience/ achievements/ specialization in relevant field including those over and above the minimum qualifications.
(l) The applicants who are not in possession of the original degree certificate / provisional degree certificate in the discipline as mentioned in the advertisement on the closing date of online registration need not apply.
(m) The shortlisted candidates will be advised to appear for the final personal interview to be conducted as per rules, at the venue and date which will be intimated through the call letter. Selected candidates will be issued offer for engagement as Project Engineer on merit basis restricted to the number of vacancies required to be filled by ADA.
(n) One set of copies of the self-attested certificates in proof of qualifications and experience should be brought at the time of final personal interview along with the application form; however, candidates will be required to produce all original certificates for verification.
(o) Date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the prescribed closing date for submission of on-line application under this Advt. The applicants are advised to fill-in all their particulars carefully during registration of their application as submission of wrong/incomplete information may lead to rejection through computer-based short-listing.
(p) Selected candidates will be engaged as Project Engineer subject to the completion of formalities like medical examination prescribed for group ‘A’ technical posts of government of India with field service liability and character verification etc.
(q) All serving candidates (whether in permanent or temporary capacity) whether in Government or in Government owned organizations (PSU/Joint venture, Government promoted societies and Government / Non-Government companies / Agencies / Entities where Government or Government promoted companies/
i. Agencies/Entities have a combined controlling stake of 50% or more) need to upload a signed declaration as per format given on the web site that they have informed in writing to their Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) that they have applied for the post in ADA, apart from submission of their application online (web-site).
(r) Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India if considered necessary. (s) The number of vacancies indicated is tentative and may vary and the right to not fill up all or any of the posts as advertised is reserved.
(t) All decisions in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of application shall be final and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or his/her agency.
(u) Applications / Registrations received after the closing date or otherwise incomplete / without uploading of photo, degree certificate, experience certificate etc. will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
(v) Interview call letters for the candidates shortlisted for the Final personal Interview will be forwarded by E-mail only and therefore candidates should correctly enter their details such as E-mail ID, Postal Address & Mobile Number etc. No queries in this regard will be entertained on telephone.

Selection Process :
(a) (i) The candidates, shortlisted after preliminary online interview, will be advised to appear for a final personal interview to be conducted as per rules at the venue and date, which will be intimated through the call letter.
(ii) Candidates serving in Govt. or in Govt. owned organizations will be required to produce a copy of proof of their communication with their employer (intimation/acknowledgement if received from employer) regarding their application for the desired post in accordance to the point (q) of para-7 General Conditions given below.
(b) The final selection of candidates will be purely on the basis of merit of marks scored by a candidate in the final personal interview only. The candidates must score a minimum of 70% marks (i.e. 70 out of 100) for all Unreserved Vacancies and 60% marks (i.e. 60 out of 100) for all Reserved Vacancies in the Final Personal Interview for consideration for selection.
2. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process by adopting any one or more of the following methods
(a) On the basis of educational qualifications and / experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement duly supported by the Documentary evidence.
(b) Relevance of experience as filled in application by candidates.
(c) On the basis of Desirable Qualification (DQ), if more than one DQ is prescribed, on any one or all of the DQs.
(d) By holding a Screening Committee Meeting consisting of Technical Experts from Industry and Academia.
3. Based upon the performance in the Preliminary Online Interview, candidates will be shortlisted for the Final Personal Interview in the following ratio subject to their availability
How to Apply :
1. Date of opening of application registration on ADA web site: 10 AM onwards from 08th July 2021.
2. Closing date: Twenty-one days (21 days) from the date of publication of the advertisement in ‘Employment News’
(a) Candidates are requested to register their applications online on RAC website https://rac.gov.in or ADA web site: https://ada.gov.in . Application registration on the website will be kept open from 10 AM on 08 Jul 2021 onwards till 21 days from the date of publication of the Advertisement in the Employment News. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
(b) Upon successful submission of the application on-line, a system generated unique application number would be allotted which along with a hard copy of the application should be carefully preserved by the applicants for future reference.
(c) The candidates are required to upload the following documents compulsorily:
(i) Scanned recent color photograph of size 110Wx140H px (Image JPG). (File size should not exceed 30KB).
(ii) Scanned legible copies of Degree Certificate, mark sheets as proof of First Class and Experience Certificates
(iii) Caste/Income & Asset certificate in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS category seeking reservation.
(iv) Discharge/Release certificate in case of candidates belonging to ‘Retired Armed Forces Personnel’ category.
