Applications are invited from the Retired Engineers for appointment to the post of Assistant Engineer(Civil)&Junior Engineer(Civil) in ESI Corporation, Kerala on contract basis for monitoring its project works in the state of Kerala, preparation/scrutiny of all estimates, tendering and supervision of repairs & maintenance works. The details with regard to number of posts, Educational Qualification, Experience etc. are given below:
1. Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer(Civil)
2. No of Post: 01
3. Eligibility: Candidates who held post of Assistant Engineer or superior posts at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD Department/Central or State Public Sector undertaking.
4. Qualification: Candidates with Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognised University/institution
5. Experience: Retired Government Engineers having experience in building construction and maintenance will be given preference.
6. Nature of Engagement: The employment will be purely contractual in nature for a period of one year and extendable for one more year on mutual consent.
7. Remuneration: A consolidated monthly remuneration of 50% of last drawn basic pay for retired employees from pensionable Government employment. For retired employees from non-pensionable govt./semi-government employment like Autonomous Bodies, PSUs etc, the following consolidated monthly remuneration would be admissible: Rs.45,000/-

Maximum Age: 64 years as on the last date of submission of application.
Important Note:
1. Candidates should submit the duly filled in Application Form for appearing in the interview. Candidates should also bring two copies of recent passport size photographs
2. Candidates should also carry with them Original Certificates of Educational Qualification/experience/testimonials/PPO(as applicable)along with a self attested copy of each
3. Candidates should produce any original Government issued photo identity like Aadhar Card, Election Photo identity Card, Passport, Driving License etc.
4. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any applications without assigning any reasons thereof
5. Selected candidates shall have to produce Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Govt. Civil Surgeon before joining the Corporation.
6. Candidates who intent to apply for more than one post shall submit separate application for each post.
