Central Government Health Scheme 2021 Jobs Recruitment Notification. CGHS inviting applications for the positions of GDMO,Specialists and Pharmacists. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for the positions.

Qualification Details:
Applications are invited from retired Doctors/ Specialist & Pharmacists from Central/ State Governments and PSUs for the appointment to the post of GDMOS/ Specialists and Pharmacists (Allopathy) on contract basis for CGHS, Chennai as per terms and conditions as under.

1. Name of the Post: GDMOS/ Specialists and Pharmacists (Allopathy)

2. No of Post:

(i) Medical Specialist - 03

(ii) Gynecologist - 01

(iii) Pediatrician - 02

(iv) Dermatologist - 02

(v) Ophthalmologist - 01

(vi) ENT Specialist - 01

(vii) General Duty Medical Officer - 03

(viii) Pharmacist (Allopathy) - 03

3. Educational Qualification:

(i) GDMO: MBBS

(ii) Specialists: Post Graduate in concerned Specialty

(iii) Pharmacists (Allopathy): Dip. In Pharmacy/B. Pharm.

4. Remuneration:

(i) GDMO: The consolidated Remuneration Rs. 75000 - p.m.

(ii) Specialists: The consolidated Remuneration for 1st year Rs. 95000/- p.m. 2nd year Rs. 105000/- p.m.

(iii) Pharmacists (Allopathy): Rs. 25500/- p.m. or Last pay drawn minus pension fixed whichever is less.

5. Period of contract appointment:

(i) GDMO: Initially one year, or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier, extendable for another year upto the age of 70 years

(ii) Specialists: Initially one year or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier, extendable for another year up to the age of 70 years.

(iii) Pharmacists (Allopathy): 180 days only or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier

Age:
Not exceeding 64 - 68 years

Terms and Conditions:
1. The appointment is purely on contract basis with effect from the date of joining or till the regular incumbent joins or on attaining the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

2. Appointment can be terminated at any time. The Notice period for resignation from the contractual appointment is 30 days. Otherwise, remuneration for the notice period will not be paid. The Govt. reserves the right to terminate the appointee by paying remuneration for half a month in lieu of notice without assigning any reason for failure to perform assigned duties to the satisfaction of the competent authority

3. The appointee shall perform the duties assigned to him/her. The competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required. No extra/additional allowance will be admissible in case of such assignment.

4. The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the Govt. servants, appointed on regular basis.

5. No private practice of any kind is permissible nor is any non-practicing allowance admissible in addition to monthly remuneration.

6. The appointee will not have any claim or right for regular appointment to any post under Central Government Health Scheme.

7. No Dearness Allowance or any other allowances like HRA, T.A. etc. is admissible. Other benefits like LTC, Leave Encashment are also not admissible to the appointees.

8. Only Leave of I .5 days for every completed month of duty will be admissible. No other kind of Leave is admissible. The leave accumulated should be exhausted within six months, failing which it will be lapsed and will not be carried forward. Leave availed without prior permission/intimation will not be granted and it will be treated as absence.

9. The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of the CGHS Chennai and shall not accept any other appointment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind during the period of contract.

10. They shall be functioning under the control of the CMO Incharge of the CGHS Wellness Centres/Polyclinics in which they are posted.

11. On appointment, the appointee will be required to take an Oath of Allegiance to the Constitution of India or make a solemn affirmation to that effect in the prescribed proforma.

12. The appointee is not entitled to any TA for joining at the place of posting on accepting appointment.

13. If any declaration given or information furnished by the appointee proves to be false or if any material, information is found to be wilfully suppressed then the appointee shall be liable for removal from contractual appointment without prejudice to such other actions by the Government as deemed necessary.

14. The appointee is required to produce his/her original certificate for verification at the time of acceptance of contractual appointment.

15. The contractual appointment and continuation thereof, if any will be governed exclusively by the terms and conditions stated herein above.

16. Due to exigency of service they may be posted to any Wellness Center/Polyclinic in Chennai and they should not refuse to report for duty.

17. Computer knowledge is pre-requisite for contractual appointment.

18. The contract doctors who resigned and again apply for re-appointment for contractual appointment will be kept last in the selection list and preference will not be given to them for re-appointment.

How to Apply :
The duly filled applications along with BIO-DATA affixed Passport Size Photograph and Xerox copies of certificates, Pension Pay Order etc. should reach the Office of the Additional Director, CGHS, E-2-C, Rajaji Bhavan, Besant Nagar, Chennai - 600 090 on or before 18.10.2021.
