Qualification Details:
Online applications are invited from citizens of India for filling up of 4 (four) posts of Assistant Conservator of Forests (APFS-Entry Grade) in the Pay Scale: Level-10 of Pay Matrix Rs. 56100-177500 per month plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Govt. employees from time to time. Any vacancies/post(s) if received from the departments will also be included and notified before the written examination.

1. Position: Assistant Conservator of Forests

2. No of Posts: 04

3. Pay Scale: Level-10 of Pay Matrix Rs. 56100-177500 per month plus other allowances

4. Educational Qualification: The candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Science from a recognized University or lnstitution with at least one of the following subjects: Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical, Computer Science Application, Environmental Science, Veterinary Science and Computer Science & Engineering).

Age:
A candidate must not be less than 18 years and above 32 years of age as on 05.11.2021.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay fee of Rs. 100/- for APST candidates and Rs.150/- only for others through online mode only.

Documents to be Submitted:
Prior to Viva-voce/lnterview. Candidates declared qualified in the written examination will have to submit self-attested Xerox copies of the following documents/information to the Commission one week prior to the date of viva-voce/lnterview.

(i) Recent passport size photographs.

(ii) Self-attested Xeroxed copies of Degree certificates and mark-sheet issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain degree.

(iii) Self-attested Xeroxed copy of Matriculation certificate for proof of age issued by the Board only will be accepted.

(iv) Self-attested Xeroxed copy of APST certificate for APST candidates and PRC/Adhaar Card/EPIC for other candidates

(v) lntimation letter to HoD or NOC from the applicable Authority (for the Departmental candidate only).

Those candidates who are appearing for Viva-voce/lnterview will have to produce the above mentioned certificates and mark-sheet/documents in original at the time of Interview/Viva-voce, failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear in the Interview.

Selection Process :
The eligible candidates will be required to appear in the written examination in the following subjects:

1. Compulsory Subiect:

(i) General Knowledge - 100 marks

(ii) General English (Essay & Precise writing etc) - 100 marks

(iii) Mathematics (Secondary/ Matriculation or equivalent Standards) - 100 marks

(iv) Optional subjects (2 subjects carrying 200 marks each) - 400 marks

(v) Viva-voce - 80 marks

2. Medical Fitness: Those candidates who are declared to have qualified in the written examination will be called for Medical Test followed by Viva-voce/lnterview.

How to Apply :
1. The last date/time for submission of application is 05.11.2021 (Till 1600 hours).

2. Before applying online application for the post, candidate must mandatorily register themselves in ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR),

3. Candidates are required to apply online using the website www.appsc.gov.in. Detail instructions for One Time Registration (OTR) and online Application are available on the above mentioned website. The applicants are advised to submit only single application; however, if due to any unavoidable situation, if he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the higher Registration lds (RID) is complete in all respect like applicants details, Photograph, signature, Photo ID, fee etc. The applicants with higher RID shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.

4. Those candidates who have already registered in OTR need not register again and they can directly log in to fill up online form using their User ID and Password.

5. Documents to be uploaded: Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents along with the application

(i) Scanned signature of the candidate on white paper with black in pen (20 kb to 60 kb)

(ii) Recent pass-port size photo (size 40 kb to 100 kb).

6. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or other-wise of candidate for admission to written examination or selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained.

7. Examination Fees: Candidates are required to pay fee of Rs.100/- for APST and Rs. 150/- for others through online mode only.
