Recruitment to 1871 (One Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy One) posts of Medical Officers (Assistant Surgeon) in Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical & Health Services Cadre under Health & Family Welfare Department in the Scale of Pay of Rs. 56,100/- in Level 12, Cell-1 of Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time

Age:
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty-one) years and must not be above the age of 32 (thirty-two) years
Application Fee:
A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs. 500/ (Rupees five hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Persons with Disability (whose permanent disability is 40% and more)are exempted from payment of this fee.
Selection Procedure :
1. The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Medical Officers (Assistant Surgeon) shall be adjudged on the basis of Written Test.
2. The Written Examination will be held at Cuttack/ Bhubaneswar. Request for change of Examination Centre shall not be entertained.
3. The written examination shall comprise of one (01) paper of 200 marks
4. There shall be 200 questions carrying one (01) mark each of Multiple Choice Question (MCO) pattern.
5. The duration of examination shal be three (03) Hours.
6. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
