Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd., a power generating and distributing organization of Government of Punjab is inviting application for the Apprenticeship Training of Lineman from the candidates who have completed ITI in WIREMAN/ELECTRICIAN trade .Preference will be given to Punjab resident/domicile candidates and if above candidates are not available, the other state candidates will be considered.

4. Qualification: Candidates shall be ITI in Wireman Or Electrician Trade.The certificate should be duly issued by NCVT/SCVT.
5. Period: One Year (as per Apprenticeship Act 1961, Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time)

General Instructions:
1. The PSPCL reserves the right to decrease/increase the number of Seats advertised without any notice PSPCL reserves the right to call the final selected candidates once put up on the merit list, as per the number of actual seats available.
2. The candidate must possess the prescribed qualifications as per para-4 including reservation certificate up to the last date of online registration.
3. The candidates whose results have been officially and publically declared till the last date of online registration shall only be eligible to apply. Selected candidate/Apprentice has to register on the portal before joining the allotted station as Apprentice Lineman in PSPCL.
4. Candidate who has already done ITI Apprenticeship earlier in any other department or in PSPCL will not be eligible for this Apprenticeship.
5. Every apprentice must have an Adhar Number/any other prescribed document.
6. Candidates are advised to keep the e-mail id to be entered compulsorily in the online application form and the same should remain active for the entire training period.
7. No change in the e-mail id will be allowed once entered. In case of any ambiguity/dispute or interpretation, decision of the PSPCL shall be final and binding on the candidates. Legal jurisdiction shall be subject to Local Courts at Patiala only.
8. No manual/paper application will be entertained. Certificates in support of reservation of seat must have been obtained on or before the last date of registration of applications. Any certificate issued after this date shall not be entertained.
9. Candidates shall submit the attested copy of these certificates /documents at tne time of checking of original documents.
10. It should be clearly understood to the candidate that during the entire period of Apprenticeship, his posting place will not be changed under any.circumstances. It is informed NO CORRIGENDUM will be published in newspapers in this regard.
11. Details regarding corrigendum if any may be seen on PSPCL website www.pspcl.in.
12. On successtful registration of online application, candidates are advised not to attempt for re- registration for the same post since multiple registration number and password may create probiem tor candidates in future.
13. In case of multiple registrations for the same post, the candidature is liable for cancellation/rejection without any notice/intimation to the candidate. Candidates in their own interest are advised, not to wait till the last date & time and register their application well within the time. PSPCL shall not be held responsible, if the candidates are not able to submit their application due to last time rush.
Note:
1) It is further clarified that mere calling of any candidate for document checking doesn't entitle him/her for selection/admission to the said post.
2) Candidate shall be notified about venue, date and time of document checking through Registered e-mail ID of candidate (as mentioned by the candidate in his/her online application form) and on PSPCL's website (www.pspcl.in) only. In case candidate does not appear on the 1st scheduled date , then 2 and final chance would be given to such candidate and in acse he/she again fails to appear for document checking even on 2 and final chance, than no further chance would be given&his/her candidature shall be cancelled/forfeited without any further notice.
3) Candidate has to himself/herself appear for the process of document checking. Nobody on candidate's behalf can appear in the document checking.
4) Educational qualifications must be from Recognized Institution.
Selection Procedure :
Selection will be based purely on merit basis .The merit will be made as per marks obtained in ITI of Wireman or Electrician trade. The percentage marks obtained shall be rounded off to nearest 2 decimal digit for preparing the merit. No weightage shall be given for higher qualifications.
How to Apply :
1. Last date for Online Registration 15.12.2021 Candidates can print out the application form from the PSPCL website.
2. Candidates are required to apply online through PSPCL website (www.pspcl.in) in English only. No other means/mode of submission of applications (including hand written application) will be accepted under any circumstances.
3. Candidates should have a valid personal e- mail id.It should be kept active during the entire training period. Candidates should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while flling in on-line application.
4. Any mistake committed by the candidate shall be his/her sole responsibility. No subsequent corrections/modifications are allowed once the online application is registered.
5. Before starting to fill up the on- line application, make sure the following details/documents are readily available with the candidate:
a. Matriculation Certificate for personal details.
b. Punjabi Pass Certificate at Matriculation Level
c. ITI Pass Certificate/Detail Marks sheet in Electrician/Wireman trade
d. Aadhar Card
e. Reserve Category Certificate (if applicable) lie

7. PSPCL does not take any responsibility for the candidates not being upto the last date due to any reason.
8. His/Her candidature will be purely provisional subject to eligibility verification during document checking.
9. The decision of the PSPCL about the mode of selection to the post and eligibility conditions shall be final and binding .No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
10. On the basis of merit list candidates shall be called for document checking.Verification of original documents /certificates would be conducted by document checking committee, for which dates shall be notified later through registered e-mail D's (as mentioned by the candidate in his/her online application form) and on PSPCL's website (www.pspscl.in) only.Thus candidates are advised to mention their e-mail 1D's very carefully.
