Qualification Details:
The Centre for Management Development (CMD)on behalf of Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (KDISC)invites applications from competent and qualified candidates to the posts of Program Executive/Junior Programme Executive to be associated in the Manchadi – Teach Maths for Kerala programme and Junior Programme Executive in the Mazhavillu – Teach Science for Kerala programme of (K-DISC)on contract basis
i. Project Manchadi- 'Manchadi' (Teach Mathematics for Kerala) aims at improving the proficiency of children, at the primary level, in Mathematics by developing a Community Math Lab (CML) for child-centered, activity-based learning and teacher guided re-intervention of mathematics.
ii. Project Mazhavillu - ‘Mazhavillu’ (Teach Science for Kerala) aims at improving proficiency of children, at the primary level, in Science by developing and using a methodology of integrated teaching and learning based on the approach of Conceptual Change.

3. Qualification: First Class M.Sc./M.SW./M.Ed. or Equivalent OR First Class Graduation in Engineering/ Science / Mathematics/ B.Ed or equivalent.
4. Essential Attributes:
i. Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English, written as well as spoken, as evidenced through a written test.
ii. Good Logical, Analytical and Critical Reasoning abilities, as evidenced through analytical and reasoning test.
iii. Advanced Computer Skills, as evidenced through a practical test.
5. Desirable Attributes: Aptitude in teaching Mathematics. Passionate about teaching young students aged 6 to 12. Proven artistic skills in Dancing, Singing, and Theatre & Acting
6. Experience: Candidate with 2 years of experience in teaching young students in schools Having experience in teaching Mathematics is advantageous.
7. Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000 to 32,500/- Monthly

Note:
1. Admittance to various stages of the recruitment will be provisional only and will not confer any claim unless various other conditions of selection process are satisfied. 7. Candidates who have exposure to educational activism shall get preference.
8. Candidates with exposure in design of riddles, toys, games and related community projects etc., shall get preference.
9. Candidates with proven achievements in extra-curricular like Dancing, Acting, Singing and Role Play shall get preference
10. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. In the event of any information provided by the candidate being found false or incorrect at any stage, their candidature/appointment is liable to be cancelled/terminated without any notice. K-DISC reserves the right to fill or not fill the post advertised.
Selection Process :
1. K-DISC reserves the right to shortlist only a limited number of candidates for test/group discussion/interview, as the case may be for the post, based on marks secured in their qualifying examination and/or experience. Candidate should clearly mention the marks scored in their qualifying examination in the CV.
2. The conversion of grade/CGPA to percentage would be based on the procedure certified by the University from where they have obtained the degree. The onus of proving the conversion from grade/CGPA to percentage of marks would rest with the candidate.
