Qualification Details:
Walk-In Interview in Project entitled "ICMR -Task Force Study on "Smokeless Tobacco and Reproductive & Maternal Health (ICMR SLT-RMH study)" under Dr. Prashant Kumar Singh, Scientist-D at ICMR-NICPR, Noida.
1. Name of the Post: Scientist C (Non-Medical)

3. Essential Qualification: 1st Class Master's degree in Public Health / Population Studies/Demography/Health Economics/Sociology from a recognized university with four years of research experience in relevant research field. OR 2nd Class Master's degree in Public Health or Population Studies +PhD from a recognized university with four years of research experience in relevant research field.
4. Place of posting NICPR, Noida and as per requirement of the Project
5. Emoluments: INR 51,000/- per month + INR 6,660 (HRA)
6. Duration of Project: Up to July,2022
7. Duration of Contract: Six Months
8. Project: ICMR-Task Force Study on "Smokeless Tobacco and Reproductive & Maternal Health (1CMR SLT-RMH study)", ICMR- NICPR. Noida
9. Nature of Duties: Preparation of scientific manuscript based on the findings of the study Would be essential task. Involved in analyzing large-scale nationally representative surveys such as NFHS, NSSO, GATS etc. Involved in preparing the study report along with policy briefs
10. Preference: At least two publications in peer-reviewed journals listed in Science Citation Indexed (SC) on tobacco, maternal and child health and non- communicable diseases. Good knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative techniques in health research. Excellent command in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data using STATA, R, NVivo, ATLAS.ti etc. software's. Proficiency in analyzing large-scale surveys like NFHS/GATS/NSSO etc. Ability to plan and execute research paners indenendentlx

Terms and Conditions:
1. The Posts are purely temporary for the project duration only.
2. The incumbent selected will have no claim for regular appointment at NICPR/ICMR/Govt.
3. Appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side.
4. No benefit of Provident Fund, HRA, CTG, Medical Claims etc. is admissible.
5. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD as per Govt. rules.
6. Age will be counted on 03.12.2021.
7. No travel charges will be paid to attend the interview.
8. Date of walk-in-interview has been scheduled on 03.12.2021.. No candidate entry will be allowed after 9:30 am in any condition.
9. The number of positions can be decreased increased at the discretion of Director, NICPR.
10. The competent authority has the right to screen /reject the candidature or cancel whole selection procedure without assigning any reason.
11. Any type of canvassing will be treated as disqualification.
12. Incomplete, without photo pasted, unsigned applications will not be received and the candidate will not be allowed to participate in the walk-in-interview.
13. Copy of Identity proof (Aadhar Pan Card/ Passport/Driving License-card type) is to be attached and original needs to be bring at the time of examination /interview.
14. Reservation certificate should be as per Govt. of India Rules.
15. Applicants should write the name of the Project and Post on the application.
16. Persons already in regular/permanent service under any Government Department/ Organization are not eligible to participate.
17. The selected candidate will work in the project mentioned above or on any other work that may be assigned by the Principal Investigator/Director from time to time.

19. No additional time will be given to submit any document etc. later on after interview.
20. Candidates who completely full fill the required criteria may come for interview.
