Qualification Details:
Applications through online mode are invited from the applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and are possessing the prescribed Academic/Professional qualification and age for the following posts in terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Education (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 1979 issued under SRO 51 7 dated 19.09.1979, Government Order No. 0441M of 2018, dated 01.01.2018 (GMC- Kathua);

3. Qualification:

i. For MBBS Degree Holders:- MD in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India ii. For Non-MBBS Degree Holders: Ph.D in concerned discipline from a University duly recognized by University Grant Commission.

ii. For MBBS Degree Holders:- MD/MS in Bacteriology/MicrobioIogy/, MBBS M.SC with /Bacteriology/Miero biology' in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India ii. For Non-MBBS Degree Holders: Ph.D in concerned discipline from a University duly recognized by University Grant Commission.

iii. MD in (Social & Preventive Medicine/ Community Medicine) duly recognized by Medical Council of India.

iv. MD/Ms in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India.

v. MD/MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from University/ Institution duly recognized by Medical Council of India.

vi. MD Medicine in concerned discipline duly recognized by Medical Council of India.

4. Experience:

i. Having minimum of 02 years Teaching/Research experience as Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator or as Senior Resident from a recognized teaching medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Kashmir/Jammu/SKIMS

Documents Required:
1. Date of Birth certificate (Secondary School/Matric Certificate- 01 leaf.

2. Domicile certificate —01 leaf

3.  M.B.B.S Degree certificate along with consolidated Marks Cards-upto 05 leaves

4. PG Diploma/PG/DNB (BS) alongwith consolidated marks card (for non-clinical posts)Certificate, along with Registration certificate, from authority-upto 04 leaves. 

5. DM/M.Ch/DNB (SS) certificate along with result Notification- upto 03 leaves (when applying for Lecturer Super Specialty in GMC Jammu/ Srinagar).

6. Certificate to the effect that DNB in the relevant S}mialty has been done from a 500 bedded institution/ hospital or one year Senior Residency or equivalent experience, on prescribed format, from an Institution/Hospital duly recognized by the Medical Council of India, now National Medical Commission, (where the applicant is applying for the Super post on the basis of DNB). 

7. Verification Certificate from NBE for equivalence Of DNB qualifications with MD/MS or DM/M.Ch as per MCI Notification No. Med.Misc dated 11.06.2012-01 leaf

8. Two years experience certificate from the teaching institutions recognized by the Medical Council of India (now National Medical Commission), as per format (Except for the post of Lecturer Super in GMC Jammu/Srinagar). 01 leaf

Important Instructions:
1. Candidates can pay the requisite fee through online mode in the "SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS" menu in your account.

2. After successful payment of the fee, the fee status will get reflected on the Online Application form.

3. Candidates can check the fee status by clicking on the Print Application Button in the submitted Applications menu in your JKPSC account.

4. In case the payment status shows either "not submitted or under processing or status has not been reflected on your submitted application form", candidates(s) are advised to contact the JKPSC office at Solina Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony Jammu immediately for clarification.

5. Further where the online fee is paid through other service providers the candidate must ensure that not only the amount of fee is debited from his/service provider's Account but also credited into the official account of JKPSC.

6. The candidate would be able get the printout of his/her submitted application only after the payment of the requisite fee and uploading of mandatory prescribed/requisite documents.

7. The JKPSC will not undertake detailed scrutiny of applications for the eligibility and other aspects at the time of filling up of online and therefore, candidature will be accepted only provisionally.

8. The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age, etc and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post(s).

9. Copies of supporting documents will be sought at the time of document verification. When scrutiny is under taken, if any claim if made in the application is not found/substantiated by proof, the candidature will be cancelled and the Commission's decision shall be final and binding

10. Please note that the above is the only valid procedued for applying.

12. No other mode of application or incomplete steps would be accepted and such applications would be rejected.

Selection Process :
1. Selection shall be made in accordance with the provisions laid down in the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission's (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021 as amended from time to time.

2. Candidates are advised to apprise themselves with the provisions of Rule 44 Of the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission's (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021.

How to Apply :
1. Candidates are advised to update their One Time Registration before filling the application Form.

2. The Application Form together with instructions for filling up the Application Forms will bé available at the website of the Commission from 28.12.2021.

3. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions prescribed for: the post before filling up the online Application Form.

4. Last date for filling up of online Application complete in all respects along with the requisite fee; (online mode only) is 27.01.2022

5. The last date for receipt of online applications provided in the notification shall be the cut-off date: for determining the eligibility including acquisition of requisite educational and professionali qualifications.

6. The minimum and maximum age will however reckoned with reference to 1St January, 2021.

7. Candidates can edit some of the fields in their online application form w.e.f 29.01.2022 to 31 2022 (up to 11.59 PM). Instructions in this regard will be separately made available on the website.

8. Candidates are requited to upload all the mandatory prescribed/requisite documents alongwith the: online application form.
