National Power Training Institute, an Autonomous Organisation under Ministry of Power, Government of India having 10 Institutes located at Badarpur (New Delhi), Nangal (Punjab), Neyveli (Tamil Nadu), Bangalore (Karnataka), Durgapur (West Bengal), Guwahati (Assam), Nagpur (Maharashtra), Alappuzha (Kerala) and Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh). invites applications for hiring of Experts on contract basis as per the details given hereunder:
1. Name of Position: Experts (Cyber Security)
2. No. of positions: 02
3. Period of contract: Initially for a period of one year..(extendable by one year)
4. Remuneration (per month): Rs.50000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) (consolidated)
5. Educational Qualification: B.Tech. in IT / CST / Electronics from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade with 2 years experience in the relevant area of Cyber Security OR B.Tech. in IT / CST / Electronics from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade with Master’s degree from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in the relevant field OR B.Tech. in IT / CST / Electronics from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade with Masters in Engg./Tech. and Ph.D in the relevant field
6. Job description:
a) Lecturing on various cyber security subjects
b) Knowledge of cyber tools will be an added advantage
c) Consultancy on cyber security related topics
d) Coordination of training programs in the relevant area

5. Educational Qualification: B.Tech. in IT / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / EEE / CST from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade
6. Experience: 2 years experience in the relevant area of Smart Grid / Smart Metering / Data Analysis at a manufacturer’s place and involved in commissioning of AMI / Smart Meters etc.
7. Job description:
a) Designing of curriculum
b) Lecturing on various subjects like Smart Metering / AMI / Data Analysis / AI / ML
c) Coordination of training programs in the area of Smart Grid / Smart Metering / Data Analysis
d) Any other relevant topics as assigned
Application Fee:
non-refundable fee of Rs.1500/- (one thousand five hundred only)
Other Conditions:
1. The candidate will have to sign a contract agreement with NPTI once he/she accepts the offer.
2. The contract can be terminated by either side by giving one month’s advance notice or on payment of compensation equivalent to one month’s salary in lieu of advance notice, without assigning any reasons thereof.
3. The candidate may be posted in any of the Institute of NPTI
4. The candidate may be deputed for conducting training in any part of India.
5. No TA will be paid for attending interview.
6. Residential accommodation shall be provided by NPTI as per prevailing rules of NPTI
