Uranium Corporation of India Limited 2022 Jobs Recruitment Notification. UCIL inviting applications for the positions of Apprentice. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for the positions.

Education Qualification :

Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy invites applications from suitable candidates for imparting skill development training as per following details:

Advt.No. - 02/2022

1. Position: Mining Mate

2. No of Post: 80

3. Qualification: Intermediate pass in any stream

4. Selected candidates will be paid consolidated monthly stipend as follows:

a) 1st Year: 70% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being Rs.7119/- per month)

b) 2nd Year: 80% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being 8136/- per month)

c) 3rd Year (Mining Mate only): 90% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being 9153/- per month)

5. Period of Training: 3 Years

1. Position: Winding Engine Driver

2. No of Post: 30

3. Qualification: Matriculation or 10th Pass.

4. Selected candidates will be paid consolidated monthly stipend as follows:

a) 1st Year: 70% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being Rs.7119/- per month)

b) 2nd Year: 80% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being 8136/- per month)

c) 3rd Year (Mining Mate only): 90% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being 9153/- per month)

5. Period of Training: 2 Years

1. Position: Blaster

2. No of Post: 20

3. Qualification: Matriculation or 10th Pass.

4. Selected candidates will be paid consolidated monthly stipend as follows:

a) 1st Year: 70% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being Rs.7119/- per month)

b) 2nd Year: 80% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being 8136/- per month)

c) 3rd Year (Mining Mate only): 90% of minimum wages of Semi-skilled workers as notified by GoJ (currently being 9153/- per month)

5. Period of Training: 2 Years

Terms and Conditions:

1. Other thing being equal, 30% of total seats shall be reserved for Land Displaced Candidates.

2. 10% of seats shall be reserved for UCIL employee's wards and another 10% of seats shall be filled through Management's nominated candidates.

3. For filling up remaining 50% seats, preference will be given to local candidates (within 5 km). In case 30% seats are not filled up completely through Land Displaced Candidates, the surplus seats will be filled up among local people.

4. Preference to the local candidates shall be given in ascending order of radius, i.e. first preference shall be given to residents falling within 1 KM zone, then to 2KM zone and so on. The zero point shall be separately from all units of UCIL Jharkhand.

5. Applicants belonging to Land Displaced category must be direct descendants of awardees whose lands have been acquired by UCIL. They are required to submit a certificate of genealogy (vanshavali) to be issued by CO/BDO/Mukhiya or Gram Pradhan along with respective LA Certificate.

6. Reservation and Relaxation to SC/ST candidates will be as Government norms and directives for the purpose.

7. This skill development training is being given to enhance the employability of the Land Displaced and local people under the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy of UCIL. After successful completion of training, UCIL does not guarantee employment of any form in the Company and the applicants are also not entitled for any claim of the same. Selected candidates shall require to sign a bond regarding this at the time of enrollment as trainee.

8. Management reserves the right to increase/decrease/cancel the number of seats notified depending upon the circumstances. Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not confer any right for selection. Applications are liable for rejection at any stage of selection process, in case of suppression/furnishing of false information, without enclosing necessary documents, unsigned & incomplete application and/or application received after closing date.

9. The decision of the management will be final and no appeal will be entertained. UCIL shall not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit in submission of documents within specified time. Applications received after the due date will neither be entertained nor returned.

10. No correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates who have not been shortlisted/selected. Any corrigendum/addendum/errata in respect of the above advertisement shall be made available only on UCIL's website (www.ucil.gov.in). No further press advertisement will be published. Hence prospective applicants are advised to visit UCIL's website regularly for this purpose

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be through written test or interview or both, at the discretion of the Management.
