Sports Authority of India 2022 Jobs Recruitment Notification. SAI inviting applications for the positions of Consultant Sports Biomechanics. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for the positions.

Job Location - New Delhi

Education Qualification :

Sports Authority of India (SAI), the apex national sports development body established in 1984 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), Government of India (GoI), is seeking a Consultant Sports Biomechanics for NCSSR for establishing Sports Biomechanics Support ecosystem. 

Master’s degree in Sports Sciences/Biomechanics/Biophysics/MPT Biomechanics from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 3 years in of experience in High Performance Sports Ecosystem.

Desirable Criteria:

(a) Experience of handling Scientific equipment’s related to 3D Biomechanics is desired.

(b) Should have experience of research in sports biomechanics & have published research

papers in peer reviewed journals.

(c) Demonstrated effective leadership, decision making and stakeholder management skills.

Prior experience of working with Government bodies/Sport Federations is advantageous.

(d) Knowledge of data management.

(e) Proficient in latest technology and training methodologies in sports.

(f) Flexible working in a dynamic environment and conditions. 


A. Applications are invited from candidates, who fulfill the essential eligibility criteria as mentioned above on contract basis.

B. In the in the event of number of applications being more than 10 shortlisting criterion will be adopted to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview.

VI. Candidates must attach all the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the application.

VII. Checklist of documents to be submitted.

A. Application form as attached at the end of advertisement with recent passport size photograph.

B. Proof of Date of Birth- Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central/State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of claim of age. Where date of birth is not available in certificate/mark sheets, issued by concerned Educational Boards, School leaving certificate indicating  Date of Birth. 

C. Proof of identity- Aadhar card/Passport/ Voter ID.

D. Bachelor’s Degree and marksheetE. Master’s degree and marksheetF. Additional Qualification documentG. Work Experience Document: Documents claiming work experience must

clearly mention the following:

 Name of the establishment/Organization/ Department.

 Signature of competent authority/issuing authority clearly stating their position of authority and nature of work and duties performed in the organization.

 Duration of employment/work experience (Date, Month & Year).

 The field in which the candidate has worked or the post held in the establishment.

H. Last pay drawn document: Candidates must have their monthly remuneration document from their place of work experience.
