Qualification Details:
1. Essential: Masters Degree in Forensic Science/Physics/Chemistry/Toxicology/ Zoology Botany/ Bio-Chemistry/Biology/Microbiology/Forensic DNA & Serology/from a recognized University. Minimum five years teaching experience in recognized Academic institution/training institution/Academy. Working knowledge of computers
2. Eligibility Criteria: Officers under the Central/State Forensic Laboratories: Holding analogous posts in the Level-10 Rs. 56100-177500/- (Revised) Pay band-3 Rs. 15600-39100 and Grade Pay Rs. 54001-(Pre-Revised). With two years regular service in post in the level-8 Rs. 47,600-151100/-(Revised) Pay Band-2, 9300-34800 and Grae Pay of Rs. 4800/- (Pre-Revised).
3. Nature of duties: Taking theory & practical classes in Forensic Science, Forensic Toxicology and forensic Medicine for IPS probationers. (2)Holding demonstration classes of various techniques used in Forensic Science. Planning and conducting Simulation Exercises; Supervise the simulated exercises in the crime scene hall.
