Post Name & Salary: Assistant Professor in Environmental Sciences(On Contract) - Rs.26,000/- (Consolidated amount without DA and any other allowances in the scale of pay 26000-400-30000- 500-35000-600-41000) & Rs.25,000/- (Consolidated amount without DA and any other allowances in the scale of pay 25000-400-29000- 500-34000-600-40000) - Rs.24,000/- (Consolidated amount without DA and any other allowances in the scale of pay 24,000-400-28000- 500-33000-600-39000)
2. Qualification: Masters Degree in Environmental Sciences/Environmental Studies/Environmental Management/Environmental Technology/Environmental Science and Management of this University or equivalent thereto with a minimum of 55% marks, with NET or Ph.D in the above disciplines offered by UGC/CSIR/ICAR or other similar academic bodies. (In the absence of candidates with NET/Ph.D, candidates with PG degree with minimum 55% marks in the above subjects will also be considered) Desirable: Research experience/Experience in RS/GIS softwares. Other conditions as per UGC
General Instructions :
The appointment will be for a period of one year on contract basis.Preference will be given to the experienced candidates.Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Universities should produce the Equivalency Certificate issued by this University after the implementation of the revised regulations for the issue of Equivalency/Recognition certificates, at the time of interview(Implemented in the University, vide U.O.No.9998/2017/Admn, dated 09.08.2017).
