Qualification :
1. Essential criteria: MSc – Agriculture/ Analytical Chemistry with 10 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with 2- 3 years of experience. Knowledge and experience in field research trials and on-farm participatory trials is desired. Ability to prepare good quality scientific reports is essential. Good team player in cross-functional environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
2. Responsibilities: Coordinate collection of soil and plant samples from field experimental sites, their processing, and analysis Good understanding of the process of soil and plant samples collection from the strategic research as well as farmers’ participatory research trials The incumbent will be responsible collection of soil and plant samples, their analysis, management and analysis of data and detailed documentation
General :
This is a Scientific and Managerial Group (SMG) position for three years renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institute’s continuing need for the position.
