Qualification Details:
1. Project: “Development of Adaptive Double Sided Incremental Forming Process for Dieless Manufacturing”
2 .Post Name & Fellowship: Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) / Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) - For JRF: Rs. 25,000/- per month for the first two years thereafter Rs. 28,000/- per month. For SRF: Rs. 28,000/- per month.
3. Essential Qualifications For JRF: ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in relevant field (Machine Design, Manufacturing or CAD/CAM). Candidate must have cleared GATE (any time in past). Candidates having good academic and research background will be given preference. For SRF: Same as JRF. In addition, minimum two years of research experience in the relevant field.
4 .Desirables: Candidate having knowledge of Vibration, Metal Forming, Computer Aided Design, Instrumentation, Solid Mechanics, Wave Propagation, etc. will be preferred.
Age: Preferably below 30 years as on date of interview.
General Terms and Conditions:
Only Indian nationals are eligible to appear for this Walk-in Interview. The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years or till the completion of project whichever is earlier. Candidates selected for this position can also apply for the regular/part-time PhD programme in the Institute provided satisfying the eligibility criteria for the PhD programme.. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets must be presented at the time of interview.
