Qualification Details:
1. Post Name & Pay: Assistant Commandant (Telecom) in the Pay Band-3 of Rs.15600-39, 100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-(Revised pay metrix level-10)
2. Eligibility Conditions :
a. By deputation: Persons holding, analogous posts on regular basis in state or other Central Police Organization and having degree in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering or Electrical Communication Engineering or equivalent and having at least one year experience in Telecommunication work: orInspector (Radio Operator/Radio Technician) of State or Central Police Organization with 5 years regular service in the grade. (The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years).
b. By Re-employment Basis: Suitable retired or released officers from the Defense Services in the rank of Captain and having degree in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent and having at least one year experience in Telecommunication work.
Age: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications
Other Conditions:
The selected persons shall be liable to be posted anywhere in India. The post of Assistant Commandant (Telecom) in ITBPF is a Combatised post. The ITBPF Act- 1992 and ITBPF Rules 1994 shall apply to the person so appointed/selected for deputation basis. Rent free un-furnished family accommodation at Battalion Hqrs and Training Centers, camp type single accommodation in forward area will be provided as per availability. Leave as per CCS (Leave) Rules. Leave Travel Concession will be admissible under CCS (LTC) Rules. as amended from time to time. Medical attendance: As per Central Govt. Medical Attendance Rules
