Educational Qualification :
Assistant Professor :
1. Assistant Professor (Yoga Education) – 01: Essential (i) Post graduate degree in Yoga with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University established under UGC Act; and (ii) Ph.D. in Yoga education or topic related to Yoga and actively engaged in Yoga research with evidence of published work. Desirable (i) National Eligibility Test (NET) in subject Yoga conducted by UGS/CSIR (ii) Practical ability to perform Yogic practices (iii) Knowledge of computer operation (iv) Knowledge of Sanskrit language
2. Assistant Professor (Yoga Therapy) – 01: Essential (i) Post graduate degree in Yoga with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University established under UGC Act; and (ii) Ph.D. preferably in Yoga Therapy or topic related to Yoga. Desirable (i) National Eligibility Test (NET) in subject Yoga Therapy conducted by UGS/CSIR (ii) Practical ability to perform Yogic practices (iii) Knowledge of computer operation (iv) Knowledge of Sanskrit language. Rs.45,000/- per month
Yoga Instructor :
Essential (i) A degree in Yoga with a minimum 55% marks from a recognized University under UGC Act OR Any Graduate from a recognized University established under UGC Act with Diploma in Yoga Education/Yoga Studies/Yoga Science after graduation of at least one year duration from a recognized University established under UGC Act/Institute with minimum of 55% marks. (ii) Level-II of Yoga Professional Competence Exam of QCI sponsored by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India (iii) Practical experience in Yoga in a reputed Yoga Institute for a minimum period of one year. (iv) Demonstration skill in Yogic practices for which skill test will be conducted. Desirable :i) Practical ability to perform Yogic practices. (ii) Experience in giving Yoga instructions at different levels. (iii) Knowledge of Computer operation (iv) Working knowledge in Hindi, English and Sanskrit languages. Rs.27,000/- per month.
