1. Senior Resident Doctor - 21 Posts

Educational Qualification : DNB, MS/MD, Any Post Graduate
Other Qualifications :
Senior Resident is one who is doing his/her residency in the concerned post graduate subject after obtaining PG degree MD/MS /DNB from MCI recognised teaching institution (as per MCI Amendment Notification dated:05-06-2017. Must possess MD/MS / DNB in the concerned subject. Must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.

ii) Should have any one of the recognized postgraduate qualification i.e., MD /MS in the concerned subject or equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to Indian Medical Council Act 1956. For Clinical Subjects one year experience as Senior Resident in a Recognized Medical college is mandatory as per the MCI Notification dated : 05-06-2017

Terms and Conditions :
1. The candidates shall submit the below mentioned documents in two sets of attested copies along with two recent passport size photographs.MBBS Marks card & PG/Diploma Marks card or any equivalent. Any other certificates of academic excellence.
2. Date of Birth certificate issued by SSLC Board or other competent authorities. Teaching experience certificate obtained from recognized Medical colleges. Caste/Income certificate and any other certificates to claim reservation, relaxation in age and etc., as per the latest Karnataka Government norms.
3. Registration Certificate from the respective State Medical Council. Candidates working in Government sector/Government Medical Colleges must produce “No Objection Certificate” from Head of the Institution /Competent Authority in which the candidate is presently working.

How to Apply :
1. A walk-in-interview will be held for the following posts in the office of the Director, Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences, Shimoga on 09-03-2018 Friday 10.30 AM onwards
2. Application can be downloaded from the college website www.sims-shimoga.com. The applicants shall submit application form along with Rs. 1000/- D.D. from nationalized Banks, payable at Shimoga (non refundable) in favor of The Director, Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences, Shimoga. The desiring candidates may send filled application form and required documents along with D.D. It should be reached through registered post or by hand to the office of Chief Administrative officer, Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences, Sagar Road, Shimoga-577201 by 05-03-2018 for prior verification of the documents. However spot registration is also permitted.
3. Selection committee is the final authority in selecting the candidates and altering the number of vacancies. Desiring candidates should attend the Walk-in - Interview with all the original documents with two recent passport size photographs on 09-03-2018 at 9 AM.
4. The candidates are instructed to register their names before 9 AM on 09-03-2018. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates. Candidates those who had already applied for the previous Walk-in- Interview Shall apply once again afresh, with the DD of Rs.1000/- & Relevant Documents.
