Project Coordinator:

Qualification Details: 
1. Post Name & Salary: Project Co-ordinator (Preferably Deaf) -  Rs. 30,000/- p.m. fixed.  (Based in Gurgaon, but travel to all other centres)

2 .Eligibility Criteria: (i) Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred (ii) Three-to-five years of experience working in deaf educational set-up (iii) Must be computer savvy with a good knowledge of computer applications (iv) Fluency in Indian Sign Language (ISL) (v)

3. Additional Skills required: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; proven ability to be flexible in a team-oriented approach with diverse groups of people ,Strong written communication skills , Strong analytic and problem-solving skills ,Content expertise in Deaf Studies and Sign Language, Knowledge of program evaluation and communicating impact. Excellent planning, organizational, multi-task and time management skills.

4. Job Description: Devising strategies and working with team members towards identification of young parents/ family members and 0-5 year old deaf kids. Visiting all centres and creating early intervention units. Working with the team to prepare curriculum and time table for the early intervention centre Creating a resource pool of videos of signed rhymes, stories, number games etc. in ISL with other team members Keeping records of the work done at all centres and preparing reports Monitoring and evaluation of the project To carry out and assist in planning and execution of project To assist the Project staff in the execution of the project To coordinate and manage the project

Age: Age Limit 18-42 years.

Language Trainer:

Qualification Details: 
1. Post Name & Salary: Language Trainer (Deaf) – 7 Posts - Rs. 20,000/- per month

2 .Eligibility Criteria: At least 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board.

3. Professional qualification:  Proficiency in ISL, Preference to A or B Level ISL training Skills in teaching ISL  Knowledge about Sign Languages, Deaf community, Deaf culture and bilingualism.  Proficiency in English Willingness to work with Families and Deaf children.  Experience in teaching deaf children and hearing parents of deaf children Aptitude to use baby sign language

4. Job Description: Working with the centre staff towards identification of young parents/ family members and 0-5 year old deaf kids. Setting up the Early intervention centre (under guidance). Preparing list of all things to be bought, setting up the centre and using the material effectively. Preparing curriculum and time table for an early intervention centre as per groups of kids (By age: 0-2years, 2-4 years, 4-6 years and 6-8 years). Signing rhymes, stories, number games etc. in ISL and creating videos of this material Keeping records of the work done and preparing reports Preparing check lists for assessing the progress (Receptive and expressive communication) Regular Assessment of the progress of parents and kids. Bringing change in curriculum and delivery strategies accordingly
