Other Qualifications :
1. Post Name & Pay: Director - The selected incumbent will be placed in the Level-15 (As per 7th CPC) / [HAG Scale Rs. 67,000/- - 79,000/- + annual increment @ 3% as per 6th CPC]. Other benefits/allowances shall be as per rules applicable for appointment on deputation including Short-Term Contract /Absorption basis.
2. Eligibility Criteria Scientists from Central / State Governments, Research Institutes, Autonomous Bodies, Government funded Research Organizations / Institutes, etc.Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent Department; or
3. Essential: PhD in Science or Engineering discipline /MD/M.Tech./M.E.E/M.S. or equivalent. Minimum 15 years of research experience in the field of specialization. Excellent track record, hand in publication, patent and award.
4. Desirable: Experience in successfully running large programme, centre, institution. Experience of guiding research activities in any of the field of Life Science.
Age :
The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation (ISTC) should not exceed 58 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
