Qualification Details:
Educational: (i) For Group 'C' posts: For technician-II': Matriculation or its equivalent With ITI in relevant trade (Reconised by SCVT/NCVT) and for other posts: 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. The compulsion ot 50% marks in aggregate will not be insisted upon in case Of SC, ST, Ex. Servicemen Candidates and candidates possessing qualification higher than 12th or its equivalent.
Age: 18 to 33 years
Application Fee: For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below: 500/-(RupeesFive Hundred only). Refund of 400 will be made to those candidates who actuallyappear in the written examination. For candidates belonging to SC, ST,Ex-servicemen, persons With Disabilities (PwDs , Women, Minorities andEconomically Backward Classes: 250/-(Rs. Two hundred fifty only).
Group D:
Qualification Details:
For Group 'D' posts: Matriculation (10th) or its equivalent. (B) Scouting: (a) President Scout/Guide/R0ver/Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section, (b) Should have been an active member Of a Scouts Organisation tor the last 05 years. The Certificate ot activeness" should be in the prescribed format which will be made available on the NERIS website. (c) Should have attended two events at National Level or All Indian Railway's Level and two events at State Level.

General Information:
1. Before applying, the candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility norms. The Educational or Scouting/Guiding qualifications acquired after the last date for submission of application shall not be considered. A candidate shall be called for Written Examination only if he/she is considered fulfilling al the laid down eligibility criteria as per his/her application. Candidates attempting to give false information/suppressing the facts will be disqualified and are liable for debarment and legal action.
2. Candidates who attempt fraud/impersonation are liable to be debarred to appear in the future examinations conducted for recruitment in Railways. Candidates found eligible for appointment will have to pass the prescribed medical examination conducted by the Railway administration before appointment.
3. Mere selection of candidates and recommendation for their appointment shall not confer any right on the candidates for their appointment in Railway. Second class Free journey pass from the nearest Railway station mentioned in the application torm wil be issued to the candidates belonging to SC & ST communities whenever they are called at any stage of recruitment.
4. The person appointed against Scouts & Guides Quota to the category of clerks will be required to possess proficiency in typing within a period of two years from the date of appointment, and their appointment will be provisional subject to acquisition of the prescribed typing qualification within the stipulated period In case of non acquisition of typing sklll within the prescrbed period, no addltional time Will be given and services Of such candidate(s) Will be summarily terminated.
